The Gogglebox TV watchers have returned for more cosy telly chat, but both the families on the show and viewers at home were not prepared for what appeared on their screens tonight.
Gladiators, The Apprentice, Celebrity Bear Hunt and The Fear Clinic: Face Your Phobia were among the series watched by our favourite Goggleboxers, but it was a scene from the new season of The White Lotus, which launched on Sky on Monday, that gained the biggest reaction.
The White Lotus became known for raunchy scenes and eye-widening moments in its first two seasons, set in Hawaii and Sicily, and the new season is carrying on the trend. The third season of mystery drama started with a new cast of characters arriving at a new White Lotus resort, this time in beautiful Thailand.
Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins play age gap couple Chelsea and Rick, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon and Michelle Monaghan play three longtime friends on a girls' trip, and season one fan favourite Natasha Rothwell, who plays Belinda, is also a guest.

Fabio Lovino/HBO)However, it is the family led by Jason Isaacs and Parker Posey, as Timothy and Victoria, that has caused the biggest stir thanks to the developing storyline between their adult children, played by Sarah Catherine Hook, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Sam Nivola.
A scene in the first episode between the two brothers, Saxon and Lochlan, who are sharing a hotel room, has already caused quite a buzz online, and now the owners of the Gogglebox sofas got to see it for themselves. In the scene, older brother Saxon (Schwarzenegger) asks his younger sibling what kind of porn he likes, and then walks to the bathroom completely nude to have some alone time, with his full frontal reflection shown in the bathroom mirror.
The Gogglebox families reacted to Patrick Schwarzenegger's nude sceneWhile the full frontal wasn't shown to Gogglebox viewers, the families certainly saw it with everyone from Ellie and Izzy, Jenny and Lee, and Michael, Sally, Jake and Harry all reacting with an alarmed "Oh!"
"So far, so pervy, Mary," Giles commented to his equally surprised wife Mary, while Jake turned to his twin brother Harry and said: "I have never done this by the way!", referring to the reason Saxon was heading into the bathroom and closing the door.
"Something happens to people when they stop in hotels," Pete commented wisely to his sister Sophie, adding, "it doesn't matter if it is a budget one or an expensive one, there has been many a night when I have heard it through the walls. I put two shortbreads in my ears!"
"Now we know what to do with the complimentary shortbread biscuits in hotels, thanks Pete and Sophie," wrote one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Gogglebox so far so pervy lol he's right there," agreed another Gogglebox viewer, while a third wrote: "#Gogglebox has just made me put a line through watching the white lotus. Too weird and disturbing. No thanks!" One fan even said the clip was enough to make them turn off Gogglebox itself: "Why does #Gogglebox always end with the weird stuff. Turned off for the last five minutes. White lotus is a no-go for me, sorry."
