Gordon Ramsay's company issues frank statement after Gino D'Acampo accusations
The Italian chef had worked with Gordon and Fred Siriex on ITV show Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip, produced by Gordon's production company
Gordon Ramsay's production company Studio Ramsay has responded to claims of "inappropriate behaviour" surrounding TV chef Gino D'Acampo. The Italian chef has been accused of making crude and sexually suggestive comments to colleagues over a span of 12 years.
The Family Fortunes star, who works with Gordon and First Dates star Fred Sirieix on ITV show Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip, has firmly denied all of the allegations, brought forward by an ITV investigation. Gino, 48, is deeply upset by the accusations.
Studio Ramsay, the production company behind Gino, Gordon and Fred's show, has now issued a statement. It stressed: "We take all allegations of inappropriate behaviour and workplace misconduct seriously, promptly investigate, and take appropriate remedial action when warranted."
Speculation about a falling out within the celebrated trio arose after D'Acampo announced in March 2023 he would not be returning to the ITV show Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip. Addressing rumours of a rift on Heart Radio, Gino said: "I love the boys, Gordon is a cool guy, Fred we've known each other for a long time.

"What happened was we tried to put the dates down to do the show and then all of a sudden they get cancelled. We were supposed to film next month in May, and end of January they told us we're no longer filming in May it's probably going to be October and November."
He added: This is the second time it's happened in a year. So I said, 'we can't do that because everybody has a block of dates, we need to work, we need to support our family.' They said 'this is what it is, we need to be able to move things around.'
"The contract was also getting bigger and more stressful, so I thought let me get out of this before the friendship is going to suffer, I'd rather have the friendship and not have the show."
Amidst allegations of sexually inappropriate behaviour, Gino issued a firm statement: "I have never been made aware of these matters previously, and the allegations are firmly denied."
He vehemently defended his character: "I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me."
Emphasizing his long career and personal values, he added, "I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of. I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting."
