Anything can happen on the Grammys red carpet—including slip-ups (literally).

So when Keltie Knight took a major fall on the Feb. 2 ceremony’s red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena, even she wasn’t too surprised.

“WHY DOES SOMETHING HAPPEN ON EVERY RED CARPET,” she captioned the Feb. 2 Instagram post. “JUST LET ME LIVE.”

In the video, the E! News co-host was dressed to the nines in a bedazzled strapless gown and sky-high chrome heels. And while a small misstep led to the tumble, she walked it off like it was nothing.

And this isn’t the only mishap that the 42-year-old has endured during award season. Indeed, during last year’s Golden Globes red carpet, the TV host lost a four-carat diamond ring that she got as a 10th anniversary present from her husband Chris Knight.

“Hi everyone, Golden Globes emergency,” Keltie said in a video posted to Instagram the night of the ceremony. “If you’re a celebrity and you see a four-carat diamond on the red carpet, please return it to Keltie Knight at E! because it’s gone, and it’s real.”

Based on photos snapped of the journalist on the red carpet, Keltie posed in a bejeweled pink gown by Khaled & Marwan Couture without the not-so-subtle accessory, pointing to a clue that her bling went missing before the red carpet even began.

Perhaps the biggest heartbreak of the whole debacle was Keltie finding out that the ring was uninsured.

"Losing the diamond was hard,” she told People in an interview published the following month. “But realizing it hadn’t been put on our insurance was even worse.”

Though she never found her original diamond, she scored an even bigger rock when fine jewelry brand With Clarity offered to replace the missing gem with a 14K yellow gold design featuring a 5-carat princess diamond.
