Grand National 2025 fallers: Which horses failed to finish Aintree race?
Several horses didn't finish the race with concerns about Broadway Boy who had a nasty fall after leading at the start of the race
The Grand National isn't the most prestigious horse race in the world for nothing. It's an incredibly challenging course, featuring 30 jumps (16 fences, with 14 of those being jumped twice) on the four-mile and two and a half furlong race.
But, while safety improvements have been made again this year, jumping the huge fences and completing the race is a very challenging task if not done properly. As such, seeing horses fall at some of the hurdles at Aintree is not rare.
Nick Rockett, who started the race at 33-1, went on to win, but there were some horses that fell along the way. A number of horses were being assessed after the race with particular concerns about Broadway Boy who had a nasty fall.
He had led for much of the race but suffered a crashing fall on the second circuit.

Brought down or fell: Appreciate It, Broadway Boy; Kandoo Kid; Perceval Legallois fell
Unseated: Duffle Coat.
