Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber Put Breakup Rumors to Bed in His and Hers Robe Coats
Except Justin’s might actually be a bathrobe.
Hailey Bieber said layers and Justin Bieber said okay, bet. The Biebers's date night styles haven't always been perfectly aligned, but February 5 in New York City, they at least matched each other's vibes if not execution.
Hailey, always the dressier of the two, wore a heavy, cream-colored wool winter coat over her black crewneck sweater, white t-shirt, and black pants. She finished her back-to-basics look with square-toed black boots, a black tote, and a sizable black scarf to protect against the chilly February weather—with her favorite mini sunglasses of course.

Her husband, meanwhile, took a more creative approach to winter layering. Over his extreme-oversized khaki pants and matching hoodie, the singer appeared to wear a sage green bathrobe. And over that he wore a bulky blue bomber jacket, along with a gray roll cap and sunglasses. And just in case his cozy-at-all-costs message wasn't getting through, Justin completed the ensemble with fuzzy brown slippers. Honestly? An inspiration to comfy dressers everywhere. Brava.

Justin has been clowned on before for his habit of looking deliberately underdressed next to his wife. Most memorably, he once wore basketball shorts, yellow Crocs, and a half-zipped gray hoodie to Hailey's event, where she was dressed for the occasion in a chic red minidress and matching heels. On multiple occasions, in fact, Hailey would step out in an elegant mini and pumps and her husband would be wearing raggedy jeans and a bulky hoodie. That said, let's remember that other times, the Biebers match one-another's looks basically beat-for-beat.
This time, the Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber couple style quotient seems to fall somewhere between a total mismatch and perfect agreement. Sure, Hailey is dressed for the outdoors and Justin is dressed for greeting room service at the hotel door, but they are both wearing their own versions of comfortable layers. And that's what marriage is really all about, if you think about it.
