Netflix has released the first trailer for Adam Sandler’s highly anticipated Happy Gilmore sequel.
The original sports comedy was directed by Dennis Dugan and has gone on to earn cult film status since being released in 1996.
It tells the story of Sandler's titular unsuccessful ice hockey player who discovers that he has a talent for golf and competes in a tournament to raise money and save his grandmother's house.
A lot of things appear to have changed since we last caught up with Happy.

The trailer for Happy Gilmore 2 reveals Happy is now a five-time Tour Championship winner, joining the ranks of sporting greats such as Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods.
He reveals that he hasn’t "swung a club in years" however, as he prepares to make a comeback, adding: "I'm a little intimidated. All these guys hit it big now. I don't know where to start."

Christopher McDonald is back as Happy’s golfing nemesis Shooter McGavin, Julie Bowen returns as his love interest Virginia, Ben Stiller is back too as toxic care home workerHal and Dennis Dugan reprises his role as pro golf tour exec Doug Thompson.
Meanwhile, new cast members include Sandler's daughters Sunny and Sadie, as well as Travis Kelce, Bad Bunny, John Daly, Blake Clark and Paige Spiranac. Pro golf stars Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas and Will Zalatoris will also make an appearance.
Happy Gilmore 2 will be released to the streamer on July 25.
