Harry and Meghan's former aide accused of 'clear dig' at Sussexes
An interview given by a former royal aide who was at the centre of Meghan Markle's bullying allegations has been described as a "clear dig".
An interview given by a former royal aide who worked for the Sussexes and was also at the centre of the Meghan Markle bullying allegations has been described as a "clear dig" at Prince Harry.
Jason Knauf, who previously worked at Kensington Palace, for the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a new appearance on 60 Minutes Australia and spoke about his time at the Palace.
In October 2018, while working for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as their communications secretary, Mr Knauf made a bullying complaint against Meghan â emailing his concerns to Williamâs then-private secretary in an apparent attempt to force Buckingham Palace to protect staff. The duchess has always vehemently denied the allegations.
The email was leaked to The Times just days before Harry and Meghan's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey and Buckingham Palace launched an internal review at the time regarding the claims but the findings were never made public.
Mr Knauf's rare TV interview, explored William's breakdown of his relationship with Harry describing it as both a "hard and sad" time.
He also said he wished Harry and Meghan "the absolute best" and added: "We had lots of great times, working on their wedding was an amazing magical experience and I wish them absolutely all the best with their lovely family."
Alluding to the interview, journalist Amanda Platell wrote in the Daily Mail: "Was this a clear dig at Harry who went on make millions out of his alleged grievances against the royals and the appalling way they had treated his âsuicidalâ wife? A wife who pleaded 'not just to survive but thrive'?"

Meghan savaged by ex-royal staffer over Netflix show - she won't 'become Martha Stewart'
Meghan Markle's new series on Netflix has been criticised by a former royal staffer who claimed the duchess will find it "tough" to compete in the American market and become a "new Martha Stewart".
The Duchess of Sussex 's new series, titled With Love, Meghan, is set to air on March 4.
Meghan's show will consist of eight episodes and is expected to feature the duchess sharing cooking, gardening, and hosting tips with her friends.
Paul Burrel, who has worked as a footman for the late Queen Elizabeth and as a butler for the late Princess Diana, claimed that the new series will be the "Meghan Show" but doubted whether the duchess can be "good enough" to stand out from the crowd of similar lifestyle shows.

Royal designer heaps praise on Meghan Markle despite move to the US
Meghan Markle was praised by a fashion designer who has worked for the Royal Family and said he is "delighted" that the duchess is still a regular client despite moving back to the US five years ago.
The Duchess of Sussex sported various designers throughout her short royal career, which started in 2018 following her marriage to Prince Harry and ended two years later after the couple stepped down as senior working royals and moved to the US.
But there is one fashion house that is particularly close to her heart - Dior - which Meghan has worn several times.

Queen Camilla looked chic as she visited Canterbury to attend an event celebrating the life of the city's famous literary heroine, Aphra Behn - and royal fans had one thing to say about her appearance.
Camilla unveiled a statue of the writer outside the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge, as well as a library, museum, and gallery.
