Prince Harry regrets ditching his UK pals to pursue the American dream alongside wife Meghan Markle, a former acquaintance claims. Following his 2018 marriage to Meghan Markle, Prince Harry made the life-changing decision to flee his royal life and begin a new life in the United States with his wife and kids. However, his plans to begin anew with his family in the US did not exactly go as envisioned.
Aside from the many setbacks with his Hollywood deals and projects, the duke has also faced constant lashing by the press, which has dealt his image a huge blow. The resulting negative media coverage has him isolated from major Hollywood circles, hindering his prospects of forging close friendships in his Montecito community and the US.

According to the source who spoke to Radar Online, Prince Harry misses his partying days in the UK and regrets abandoning it all just to start a family with his American wife. The source claimed,
“Harry regrets closing the door on this mates. He misses the boozing, the skiing, and attending rugby matches with the lads. He simply doesn’t have that kind of friendship group in the United States and that’s a shame.”
Further worsening his unadventurous life in the United States, Prince Harry’s alienation from his royal family since fleeing the UK also factors into his regrets. The 40-year-old reportedly nurtures hopes of someday reconciling with his family, with sources claiming he looked forward to a grand UK comeback. However, the royal family isn’t as enthusiastic when it comes to welcoming back the estranged prince and all the drama that comes with the package.

OK! previously reported that Harry and Meghan’s former neighbors David and Victoria Beckham want nothing more to do with the Sussexes following their fallout. According to an insider, the couple accused the retired soccer player and his wife of leaking details about them to the press. This allegation drove a wedge between them, trashing their once-blossoming friendship despite Meghan’s attempt to mend ties.
These days, the Beckhams lean closer to the monarchy, nurturing their friendships with Harry’s royal rivals King Charles and Prince William. Another old Pal of Harry’s Jack Whitehall has also admitted to the duke cutting ties with him once his wife came into the picture. The comedian detailed how he used to hang with the “playboy prince” during his fun days even if they were never best buds.
During that phase of his life, the Duke had an impressive inner circle, who surrounded him on those wild adventures, including the infamous “naked billiards” in Las Vegas, and countless nights of partying. Although those wild days were bound to end as he embraced life as a responsible dad post-marriage, like everyone else, Prince Harry very much would have loved embracing this new phase with his friend group in tow, hence his regrets.
