Harvey Specter Is Great, But These 5 Suits Characters Can Better Help Ted In Suits LA
These Suits characters should return in Suits LA.
This article contains spoilers for Suits LA episode 2.Suits LA may be getting off to a rough start ratings-wise, especially since it's challenging for a spin-off to succeed after its highly popular predecessor, but there are some characters from the original series who could help the new show and its protagonist shine brighter. The Suits spinoff series has a lot riding on its future and focuses on Ted Black and his determination to save and control his law firm. Along with maintaining his firm and his clients with the help of the new head of entertainment, Erica Rollins, Black is also working on the Lester murder case while recollecting his experiences in New York.
As Ted and the Suits LA characters settle into the new series, Harvey Specter will return in Suits LA in a multi-episode arc. Due to his immense expertise as a charismatic attorney, Specter can provide some much-needed firepower for Black to win the Lester case or any other challenging trial in the foreseeable future. Aside from Harvey, other original Suits characters can offer even better assistance to Amell's character and his firm without overshadowing the primary storylines. These characters are experienced attorneys who can give Ted a team to be reckoned with in court.
5 Alex WilliamsAlex Is A Straightforward But Reliable Attorney
If Ted is looking for a fellow attorney with immense legal knowledge and a reputation for building strong cases, he will want Alex Williams by his side. He's a by-the-book lawyer who knows how to win his cases with thorough research, persuasive arguments, and a strong work ethic. As a member of the Litt Wheeler Williams Bennett firm, Alex is currently more involved with corporate law at the "major's league" than Harvey himself, who moved from New York to work on Mike's clinic in Seattle.
Williams can bring his corporate law experience to Suits LA by assisting Black and Rollins with complex cases in media and entertainment. Some of them may be reminiscent of Rollins' recent battle with Rick Dodsen regarding actress Dylan Pryor's legal arrangement between working on an indie film and an action franchise. By helping Black's firm, Alex can secure plenty of valuable clients, like actors and filmmakers, with his honest and straightforward approach to his legal work.
4 Samantha WheelerSam Is A More Ruthless Attorney Than Specter
Black and Rollins can use heavy hitters like Samantha Wheeler, an attorney who never backs down and shares Harvey Specter's relentlessness in winning a case by any means necessary. This no-nonsense attitude is essential when working on a challenging case like the death of actor Lester Thompson's business partner. Although Wheeler may be a wild card due to her unusual methods, her persuasive and manipulative ways can benefit Ted at times to outsmart the opposition should his firm ever work with hers.

Creator Aaron Korsh unpacks how Eddie’s presence on Suits L.A. will shape Ted Black’s journey moving forward from the legal drama's premiere twists.
Like Alex, Samantha is also an expert in corporate law with her name on the wall, giving her the capability to tackle large entertainment industries that cause problems for high-profile clients. While Wheeler and Specter have a lot in common when it comes to their intelligence in practicing law and determination to close cases, she is less humane than him. Wheeler's ability to set aside her personal feelings toward her clients makes her even more lethal at trial than Black and Specter, which can help the outlook of Black's firm moving forward.
3 Louis LittLouis Can Be A Charismatic Presence In Suits LA
Everyone can use an attorney like Louis Marlowe Litt, who has his unique flair and the capability to energize a room. As part of the Litt Wheeler Williams Bennett firm, Louis was the managing partner at the end of Suits season 9. In other words, should Black & Associates ever work with the firm from the original series, Louis would be directly involved. In fact, Rick Hoffman will reprise his role as Louis Litt in Suits LA.
Litt's expertise in corporate finance could benefit Black in the Lester case, given that the actor accused of murdering his business partner will be looked at negatively for taking his partner's money and putting it in his account. Litt's combination of financial wisdom and fiery prowess as a lawyer can give opponents problems in court.

Despite his short temper and vengeful behavior toward his rivals in the past, Litt is more composed by the end of Suits. His personal experience and reputation for training associates could guide Rollins as she deals with her rivalry against Dodson, as well as Ted being betrayed by Stuart Lane. Litt is also recognized for his elite negotiation skills, which can also play a major factor in attracting new clients from the entertainment industry.
2 Jessica PearsonPearson Can Bring The Most Expertise To L.A.
While Ted is still getting used to being an effective leader to Rollins and everyone left in his firm, he can take some pointers from Jessica Pearson, the former managing partner of Pearson Specter Litt. Jessica is not only a skilled lawyer but also a powerful leader to her fellow attorneys and a stern decision-maker who always prioritizes what's best for her firm. She has tackled various cases, including corporate, political, and real estate ones. Like Ted, Jessica was also betrayed by her partner and later had to navigate a complicated merger.
Ted and Erica could use Pearson's leadership and expertise to rescue their firm. Given her lengthy career, Jessica can take her talents to L.A. and save the day. By far the best managing partner that the firm had in the original show, Jessica Pearson is exactly the role model that Ted Black should model himself after.
1 Mike RossMike Is The Wild Card With Advantageous Skills
The heart and soul of the Suits universe, Mike Ross shares TedBlack's human sentiment the most when it comes to fighting for clients in desperate need of help. Black can use an outsider like Ross, who's had an unusual journey towards practicing law, since he can notice key details and evidence that others cannot.
While Specter may be the more appealing attorney, Mike is the ace in the hole that someone like Ted Black and his firm can use to close any type of case.
Considering that Harvey Specter is already set to appear in Suits LA, it remains to be seen how Mike Ross could fit into the story. It must be noted that Harvey and Mike are working together in Seattle, meaning that Harvey will most likely reference Mike at some point during his Match's upcoming three-episode arc. While Specter may be the more appealing attorney, Mike is the ace in the hole that someone like Ted Black and his firm can use to close any type of case.
