Holly Willoughby has returned to screens on Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Bear Hunt and has now done her first TV interview on The Graham Norton show since the murder plot and This Morning scandal
2023 saw famous TV presenter Holly Willoughby step away from a lot of her presenting work, including the role she was most known for in co-presenting ITV1 morning show This Morning. Now Holly is returning to our screens, as she co-hosts Dancing on Ice and in her latest Netflix show Celebrity Bear Hunt, and has done her first TV interview since the murder plot and This Morning scandal.
Holly is appearing on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, February 7. In July 2024 security guard Gavin Plumb, then aged 37, was found guilty of planning to kidnap, rape and kill Holly. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter.
Prosecutors said he was obsessed with the then This Morning host, who left the ITV show after 14 years in October 2023 following his arrest. Holly's departure from This Morning came six months after her former co-star Phillip Schofield left the show after he admitted to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague.
Now Holly has chatted to Graham Norton about her return to TV with Celebrity Bear Hunt, where she has teamed up with survival expert Bear Grylls. In the show, a group of 12 British celebrities are dropped into the Central American jungle as prey for Bear Grylls as they face different challenges.
Holly said she had been taken "totally out of my comfort zone". She said:" It is so nice to be doing something new and exciting and being on a proper adventure. Working with Bear Grylls has taken me totally out of my comfort zone. The magic of Bear is that he is really convincing and inspirational and even got me to do stuff and I am the scaredest person ever!"
