Hong Jong Hyun Joins Oh Seung Hoon, Han Eun Sung, And More In Upcoming KBS Drama Special
KBS2 is set to premiere “Find Handsome” (literal title) as part of its “2024 KBS Drama Special” lineup, featuring Hong Jong Hyun, Oh Seung Hoon, Han Eun Sung, and more!
“Find Handsome” will tell the story of Cutie, a member of the now-disbanded idol group Five Princes, as he embarks on a quest to find the missing member, Handsome, in hopes of making a comeback 13 years after their disbandment. After their successful debut, the group’s popularity waned following Handsome’s departure.
Oh Seung Hoon stars as Cutie, who is passionate about dancing and unwilling to give up on his dream of becoming a singer despite the group’s collapse. As Cutie participates in a crucial audition and awaits the result, he faces unexpected challenges.
Han Eun Sung will portray Genius, the former leader of Five Princes. With a humorous and outgoing personality, he enrolled in junior college to study business after the group split and now runs a small entertainment company with just five employees. When a mistake by Cutie threatens his company, Genius calls the team members back together.
Lee Woo Tae takes on the role of Shy, a former rapper from Five Princes who now owns a coffee shop. Known for his prickly demeanor, Shy is unafraid to speak his mind even when reunited with his former bandmates after 13 years.
Kim Jun Bum will play Tall, the main vocalist of the group. An introvert by nature, Tall quietly supports his fellow members. After disbandment, he honed his skills in hair design and has become a respected stylist.
Hong Jong Hyun will make a special appearance as Jung Hae Min, the former member known as Handsome, who has transitioned to a successful acting career. Determined to pursue acting, he left the group shortly after his debut and severed ties with his former bandmates. Now back in the spotlight, he suddenly disappeared following an interview, creating an intriguing narrative around his fate.
“Find Handsome” is a one-episode drama that is set to air on November 12 at 10:45 p.m. KST.
