How ITV 'Squid Game inspired' gameshow 99 To Beat works and where it was filmed
Adam and Ryan Thomas are presenting the gameshow inspired by the Netflix series
Adam and Ryan Thomas are joining forces to host ITV's latest gameshow, 99 to Beat, that's been dubbed as "Squid Games-esque".
The first episode is set to air on Saturday, March 21, at 6pm on ITV1, taking the primetime TV spot right before Britain's Got Talent.

It's an eight-part series that pits 100 contestants against each other, in a style similar to the hit Netflix show Squid Games that rose to popularity in 2021 when the first season was released.
As the contestants battle it out, every individual who loses a challenge as to leave immediately until the last remaining player claims the top prize, having beaten the other 99 contestants.
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning ITV, said: "With their infectious laughs and undeniable warmth, I couldn't think of anyone more befitting than Adam and Ryan Thomas to front this exciting new series. With them at the helm, 99 to Beat is sure to be a supremely entertaining watch."
It was filmed inside Shinfield Studios in Reading, and 38-year-old contestant Amir Jardan admitted he was "struggling to breathe" when participating in a challenge which saw contestants jump into a "mountain" of hay that "exploded with dust".
This marks Adam and Ryan's first presenting role together. Both brothers are former soap stars with Adam starring on Emmerdale and Ryan in Coronation Street.
Adam recently shared how he felt filming the episodes, as he said: "As you get closer to the £25,000, nobody wants to come last and emotions are definitely running high and you feel for these guys. The longer you stay in it, they really want to win it and stay as long in the competition as possible."
He continued: "There's definitely a little bit of foul play going on put it that way but this is what I love about 99 To Beat, there's only rule and it's don't come last.
"There's frustration as well because on paper these games seem so simple but when you're in the 99 To Beat Arena, people are crying and it's very dramatic at times.
"I did shed a little tear I'm not going to lie. It was quite an emotional experience for not just contestants but the hosts as well."
Ryan added: "It's the first of its kind in this country so managing 100 contestants and managing the Thomas brothers is probably biggest challenge of them all but I think overall it couldn't have gone anymore perfect."
