THE Nolan Sisters know better than anyone how devastating cancer can be with the family bravely battling against the "cursed" disease multiple times.

Linda with her sister and Loose Women regular Coleen NolanCredit: RexLinda passed away today with her famous sisters at her side, with her final hours said to have been full of "love and comfort".
The sister of Loose Women star Coleen Nolan was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 and given the all-clear the next year.
But in March 2017, she was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer which was identified after it spread to her hip.
Last month, Linda appeared on ITV's Loose Women where she revealed a severe fall left her with injuries as she faced ongoing chemo.

But this is not the only cancer fight the Nolans have been involved in.
Last year, it was revealed that Loose Women presenter Coleen had been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma on her shoulder and melanoma on her face.
Their father, Tommy Nolan Sr, was the first to be struck by the cruel disease, with him dying from cancer in 1998.

Along with Coleen, sisters Bernie and Anne have all faced diagnoses, with Bernie sadly passing away in 2013 aged 52.
"You almost feel like it's a curse that's been on you but it's not. So many families go through this," said Coleen in an emotional episode of Piers Morgan's Life Stories in 2021.
Anne was the first sister to be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000.
The star was then diagnosed with stage three breast cancer 20 years later in April 2020 and is now in remission after receiving the all-clear.

This came after Linda was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005.
While she underwent gruelling treatment, her beloved husband Brian Hudson died from skin cancer aged just 60.
Brian had worked as the Nolans' tour manager until 1983 and became his wife's manager after she left the group.
Meanwhile, their late sister Bernie announced she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2010.
In October of the same year, Bernie was declared cancer-free following a mastectomy, chemotherapy and treatment with Herceptin.
She announced in February 2012 that she was no longer taking cancer treatment drugs.
However, by the end of October 2012, Bernie's cancer had returned. Doctors told the singer that the disease returned to her left breast, brain, lungs, liver and bones.
The star passed at her home in Surrey in July 2013 aged just 52.
In a statement released by Linda's agent today, Dermot McNamara, said: "It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Nolan, the celebrated Irish pop legend, television personality, Sunday Times bestselling author, Guinness World Record holding West End star and Daily Mirror columnist.
"She passed at around 10:20am at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on the MCEW Ward.
"The family said the hospital couldn't do enough, they were tireless and made it so much more bearable."
The statement continued: "She passed peacefully, with her loving siblings by her bedside, ensuring she was embraced with love and comfort during her final moments.
"Linda's legacy extends beyond her incredible achievements in music and entertainment.
