What is Opry 100: A Live Celebration?
The Opry 100 special will celebrate the Grand Ole Opry's 100th anniversary. For those unfamiliar, the Opry is a live country music broadcast founded in 1925 in Nashville, Tennessee. Regular Opry performers can be offered membership into the organization, considered one of the highest honors for a country musician.
The live special will dive into the program's history, including a look back at the many country artists who got their start on the Opry stage.
