Grammy winner Michael Bolton has cancelled his London concert due to take place this summer.
The singer had already postponed the show which was originally set for July 2024 as he continued to recover from brain surgery which he underwent in December 2023. The 71-year-old announced the news via his Instagram story on Friday, detailing that his show at London's O2 Arena, scheduled for July 5, 2025, would no longer be going ahead. The show, which will be celebrating the star's greatest hits had originally been pushed back to July 2025, after originally being scheduled in July 2024.
Taking to his Instagram to inform fans, the When a Man Loves a Woman singer wrote: "Today we are announcing the cancellation of my July 5th concert at the O2 Arena in London.

"You all know how much I was looking forward to this show but I am continuing to heal from surgery. Thank you for all your love and positive energy over this past year. I am so grateful to have the most supportive fans in the world. Your tickets will automatically be refunded," he concluded.
It comes a year after the star took to his Instagram to announce he'd be stepping away from touring for the next couple of months. Within the statement, Michael wrote: "For the next couple of months, I will be devoting my time and energy to my recovery which means I'll have to take a temporary break from touring.

"It is always the hardest thing ever for me to disappoint my fans or postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon."
Michael then went on to express his love and support towards his fans for the love and support they have shown him over the years. "Know that I'm keeping your private messages in my heart and I'll give you more updates when I can. Much love always, MB."
The star's career started in the 1970s, as part of the heavy metal band Blackjack. After going down the solo route in the 80s, the star turned his focus to romantic pop ballads, releasing hit songs including How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.
Throughout his career, Michael won two Grammys for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in 1990 and 1992 for How Am I Supposed To Live Without You and When a Man Loves a Woman respectively.
