On ITV, usual programming will be ditched in favour of coverage of the World Cup qualifier.
England will be taking on Albania in the match with a kick-off time of 7:45pm forcing both Emmerdale and Corrie off the screens.
Live coverage of the sporting event's opening Group K match, held at Wembley Stadium, will begin at 7pm fronted by Mark Pougatch.
However, ITV have made another change to their programming line-up tonight in order to give fans their soap fix.
Emmerdale has been handed an hour-long episode this evening, beginning at 7pm in order to make up for the lost coverage on Friday.
Meanwhile, Coronation Street will broadcast an additional episode this evening too in the later timeslot of 9pm.
Whilst it is the football causing all the mayhem over on ITV this Friday, BBC One has also been forced to ditch many of its shows in order to screen the Comic Relief telethon.
The live charity telecast will air from 7pm this Friday forcing regulars The One Show and Death in Paradise off-air.
