A ROYAL expert says she knows what King Charles and Prince William REALLY thought of Meghan Markle – as rumours swirled about her ‘flirting’.
Today, a slew of royal staff revealed shocking new allegations about Meghan and Harry's time in the Firm.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward explained the actress' behaviour could have come as a result of her career and upbringingCredit: The SunClaims were published in The Times saying that touchy-feely Meg had a "hug everyone" approach, while some staff reported gossip about Meghan 'flirting' with Prince William.
One ex-staffer said: "The hugging and cheek-kissing fuelled gossip among the staff that Meghan was flirting with William, which she was obviously not, but the tense atmosphere caused by all the touchy-feeliness (and the resultant gossip) deepened the rift between the brothers."
Here, Royal Biographer Ingrid Seward examines the claims - and what they reveal about Meghan and Harry.
"I think that Meghan's whole attitude is different from the royal family's because she was brought up in Los Angeles," she said.
"She's an actress and [in that industry] it's very touchy-feely but the royal family were brought up to be very formal.
In other bombshell claims made by staffers...
"Meghan does flirt with men because she sort of sees herself as an actress and she's portraying the fact that 'aren't I beautiful' - which she is - and she needs that kind of adulation."
Ingrid said Meghan may have 'flirted' because it was the only way she could connect with stiff-upper-lip new family.
Meghan namedrops celeb mates for Insta clout but is unaware of bigger picture, expert blastsShe said: "I think very definitely she flirted with William, but I think it was really her way of connecting to men."
And Meghan's behaviour wouldn't have gone down well with Prince William and King Charles.
Ingrid added: "Prince William would just be rather embarrassed because it would be a bit alien to him to be so huggy with someone that he did not want to be huggy with.
"Your body automatically stiffens if somebody comes and hugs you that you don't like or don't want near you.
"I think William just felt awkward."
Royal protocol traditionally prevents hugging but The Firm has seen this trend relax in recent years, with Princess Kate and King Charles himself both being seen to hug members of the public.
Ingrid explained: "Normally, when they meet each other - it certainly used to be - there would be a dropped curtsy or a bow and then a kiss on each cheek.
"But things have changed because we now see King Charles hugging people.
"It's just moved to a different genre."
While she did admit that royals of the past, especially Princess Diana, would be comfortable hugging, this was usually with someone she knew well or with someone that was suffering.
Ingrid said: "She [Diana] was very huggy and that's the environment in which William has been brought up.
"Yes, huggy, with people you want to be huggy with, but it's got to be on your own terms."
Jack Whitehall claims he was ‘Markled’ by Meghan as former ‘good friend’ Prince Harry ‘dropped’ him
The comedian, 36, who is currently in Australia touring his latest comedy show Jack and Michael Whitehall Live, appeared on Melbourne breakfast radio Nova 100's Jase & Lauren, earlier this week.
Speaking to the hosts, Jack revealed he and Harry, 40, used to be quite close friends when he was ''a tearaway'' - but then the royal settled down after meeting Meghan, 43.
Dad-of-one Jack said: ''I was quite good friends with Prince Harry back in the day, pre-Meghan when he was a tearaway.''
Host Lauren Phillips asked the actor if he was ''dropped'' by the now-estranged royal after tying the knot the former Suits star.
He told the hosts: ''Yeah I mean I wasn't part of his inner circle… but I had a few nights out with him when he was quite fun.''
However, in recent years, focusing again on the King, she said Charles had "dived" into the crowd after his coronation and hugged people, indicating a potential change in protocol and perhaps comfort with Meghan's behaviour.
Highlighting the Duchess of Sussex's struggle with royal protocol, Ingrid said: "She [Meghan] couldn't quite understand it.
"Being American, the whole curtsying thing is very alien, and certainly the late Queen wouldn't make Meghan curtsy to her but she would do it out of politeness - just not every time."
This comes after Meghan's "close" relationship with junior staffers was reportedly deemed "inappropriate" by senior royals.
A former member of the Kensington Palace staff told The Times: "When someone arrives from the United States and tries to change things, the old guard really don’t like it."
Another staff member recalled to The Times that Meghan asked why William and Charles "sound so serious all the time", and joked Harry had different parents as he "isn't pompous at all".
A range of bombshell claims were made, including that Meghan is said to have been nicknamed Mystic Meg for turning Harry into a "tree-hugging leftie" with her woke, new age views.
Also covered was Princess Kate, who it was claimed enjoys teasing William about his family, alongside often having to calm the prince down.
As he gets older, she believes he looks more like his great-great-great-grandfather Edward VII, the sources claimed.
And Camilla descends from Edward's favourite mistress, which Kate loves to remind her husband about.
It's reported that Kate - not yet understanding the strict rules for dress - once laid out an outfit for her future husband and he joked "she looked as if she’d just run through a charity shop covered in superglue".
The sources say the royals' upbringing - having grown up with servants to organise everything - clashed with Meghan's independent mindset.
It was her who picked up on how Harry seemed to be being pushed aside in favour of William, with one member of the royal comms team saying she didn't think Harry even thought about the fact he was a spare "until well into the marriage".
A running joke was reportedly that Harry was very much like the Prince Regent character in Blackadder.
It was joked that the duke would, without a servant, take two weeks to put on his trousers.
The Times also claimed that due to all the rules - which Camilla herself is said to have told Charles were "b******s" - royals are often prone to temper tantrums.
Running baths at exactly the same time each day and having to have consultations about perfectly pressed suits means if things don't go exactly to plan some members of The Firm are liable to explode.
Prince Andrew, for example, is said to have fired a staff member after taking a disliking to a mole on his face.
And Prince Edward once tore into his driver for looking in his rear-view mirror too much.
