The Masked Singer UK fans are convinced that an '80s pop legend is masquerading as Wolf on the hit ITV show. With the competition heating up past its midpoint, viewers are eager to see who will follow in the footsteps of McFly's Danny Jones, who snagged the 2024 title as Piranha.
The familiar faces of Jonathan Ross, Maya Jama, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, and host Joel Dommett are all back on the case, trying to deduce the identities of the remaining masked celebs.
Last Saturday's episode had fans flocking to social media to share their hunches about the "true" identities of the performers. While debates occasionally arise, there's a strong vibe among the audience that Wolf might just be Marti Pellow, the voice that charmed millions as the frontman of Wet Wet Wet.
At 59, Pellow's tenure with the band spanned from their formation in 1982 until their initial breakup in 1997, and again from their reunion in 2004 until his departure in 2017, reports the Manchester Evening News.

ITV)Social media was abuzz with theories, on the platform X - formerly known as Twitter - One person penned: "Hmm now Wolf sounds a lot like Marti Pellow this week."
Meanwhile, another speculated: "Who else had a song called Angel Eyes...Wet Wet Wet. Wolf is Marti Pellow. He hardly disguised his voice tonight."

Meanwhile, a fourth person also playfully mocked the panel's guesswork with a tongue-in-cheek comment, adding: "WOLF IS DEFFO MARTI PELLOW! ! ! ! Can hear it clear as day, this panel must be deaf" followed by a laughing emoji.

The Scottish stars released tracks like Sweet Surrender, Goodnight Girl, Angel Eyes and the infamous cover of Love Is All Around - originally sang by the Troggs.
In a past interview with Metro, Marti was relieved when Troggs' lead singer Reg Presley, gave him the seal of approval. He said: "I remember playing the song for Reg, he came to see me when we were on tour."
The singer recalled: "I remember he took me aside and he was quite emotional," he told Marti: "'I love what youâve done with our song'. And for me, that was a big compliment purely from the point of view that I wear that song and the same way that he did. It's part of my makeup."
The Masked Singer UK will continue to air this weekend on ITV1, from 7pm.
