MBC’s upcoming drama “Motel California” has unveiled a new teaser!
“Motel California” is a romance drama that follows the story of Ji Kang Hee (Lee Se Young) who grows up in a rural motel called Motel California. After escaping her hometown, she returns 12 years later to reconnect with her first love and childhood friend Cheon Yeon Soo (Na In Woo) and face new challenges.
The teaser reveals the love story between Ji Kang Hee and Cheon Yeon Soo from their innocent days as 9-year-olds to their journey into adulthood, sparking curiosity.
The teaser opens with 9-year-old Kang Hee and chubby-cheeked Yeon Soo walking side by side on dimly lit neighborhood streets in the middle of winter, carrying oversized backpacks and eating ice cream. Yeon Soo’s caring nature shines through as he carries Kang Hee’s shoe bag, bringing a smile to viewers. Kang Hee’s innocent remark, “If you eat the first snow 10 times, your first love will come true,” sets the stage for their childhood promise of marriage.
