Inside Kate Middleton and Prince William's secret Scottish holiday home
Kate Middleton and Prince William own a holiday home in Scotland which can be booked by the public - and it looks like it's straight out of a fairytale.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are the proud owners of a charming, seldom-seen Scottish cottage that seems straight out of a fairytale.
This is just one of the many lavish properties owned by the royals. Last summer, The Prince and Princess of Wales relocated from their urban London home at Kensington Palace to a new residence in the Berkshire countryside on the Windsor estate.
Their primary residence is Adelaide Cottage, where they spend most of their time with their three children: Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine and Prince Louis, six, OK! reports.
The family also owns a 10-bedroom property in Norfolk, typically used for holiday breaks, where they enjoy visiting Holkham beach - a favourite spot of the late Queen. Norfolk is also home to King Charles' private residence, Sandringham Estate.

However, apart from Berkshire and Norfolk, Prince William and Kate Middleton also own a holiday cottage in Scotland on the Balmoral grounds, which is not widely known and can even be booked by the public.
The Balmoral Castle and Grounds Twitter account shared details on Tuesday, stating: "Tigh Na Garaidh Cottage – April, May, June and July bookings now available!
"Situated in the heart of the castle gardens, in a quiet setting overlooking the conservatories, Tigh Na Garaidh can accommodate up to four guests with 1x double and 1x twin room."
A snapshot of the property reveals its charming brick exterior and idyllic location, nestled amidst verdant trees with a driveway leading up to the side. The cottage boasts five large windows, allowing an abundance of Scottish sunshine to flood in, along with a covered front entrance and a side door.

One of the key attractions is the beautifully manicured front garden adorned with stems of purple flowers, neatly trimmed grass and encircled by wooden fencing. A greenhouse, likely home to a variety of fresh vegetables, can be spotted near the property.
This enchanting cottage is believed to be a holiday retreat for William and Kate when they take a break from Adelaide Cottage, where they moved last summer.
Prince William news
The property is situated on the Windsor Home Park estate, just a stone's throw away from Windsor Castle - meaning the family can reach the main castle within approximately 10 minutes.
Adelaide Cottage, constructed in 1831 under the watchful eye of architect Jeffry Wyatville using materials from the Royal Lodge, has since been renovated. It offers breathtaking views over Windsor Great Park, where deer, cows and other wildlife can be seen roaming freely.
