Irish Olympian Jack Woolley enjoys date night with boyfriend Dave
The taekwondo star and his partner attended a movie premiere
Irish Olympic star Jack Woolley enjoyed a date night with his boyfriend this week as the couple attended the Irish premiere screening of Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy at the Stella Cinema in Dublin.
The taekwondo star and his partner of four years, Dave Hand, attended the premiere in Rathmines on Thursday night.
Dancing With The Stars favourite Jack and Dave looked sharpish on the red carpet as they posed for snaps in matching black ensembles, reports RSVP Live.
Taking to social media, the Olympian wrote: "A red carpet cinema date".
"Looking well boys," one follower commented on Instagram. "Lovely photo Jack," added another. While a third person gushed: "You two are so adorable".
Jack and Dave have been in a relationship since 2021. Describing him as his biggest supporter, Jack recently told RSVP Live: "You know, when I'm with Dave, I feel like all the problems in the world kind of disappear.
"I'm more myself when I'm around him than I would be with anyone else, we're able to kind of have a giggle, like our inner child comes out when we're together. I think that's probably the most lovely thing about our relationship. I've never had that really with anyone else."
Dave has been cheering Jack on each Sunday night when he takes to the dance floor.
The taekwando star continued: "At the start of the show, I always just have to make eye contact with him and think, yeah, I've got this. And then just perform because the dance is about putting on a character, so when I know he's there I'm doing it for him, everybody else isn't even there."
Jack will dance for the nation once again this Sunday night, as Dancing With The Stars does Eurovision.
For the themed week, he and his pro partner Alex Vladimirov will dance a Paso Doble to Finland's 2023 runner-up, Cha Cha Cha by KÀÀrijÀ.
The couple cannot be eliminated after topping the leaderboard and public vote combined on last week's Dedicated Dance Week and have booked place in the following weekâs show.
However, it's all to play for the other eight couples, as the two with the lowest combined points from the judges and public will go head-to-head in the first Dance-Off. The judges will then vote for the celebrity couple they would like to save, and who they are sending home.
