It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Lynne Marie Stewart dies aged 78
Lynne Marie Stewart, the actress best known for her roles in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Pee-Wee's Playhouse, has sadly passed away.
It has been confirmed that actress Lynne Marie Stewart, famed for her beloved characters in 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' and 'Pee-wee's Playhouse,' has passed away at the age of 78.
Her close friend and colleague, Cassandra Peterson, shared a heartfelt message on social media: "My heart is breaking upon hearing the news of my dear friend @lynnestewart78 Lynne Stewart's passing. One of the kindest, sweetest, funniest women who ever lived. The iconic Miss Yvonne of Pee-wee's Playhouse: She'll always be 'the most beautiful woman in Puppetland'."
Stewart's role as Miss Yvonne started in 1981 with 'The Pee-wee Herman Show' on stage, later becoming a regular on the CBS series 'Pee-wee's Playhouse', and she continued to portray the character in the 2010 stage revival and its subsequent Broadway adaptation.

In the TV series 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia', Stewart is remembered for playing Bonnie Kelly, the mother of Charlie Day's character, Charlie Kelly. Stewart's career began with her film debut in 1971's 'Drive, She Said', leading to roles in classics like 'American Graffiti' from 1973.
She also made numerous television appearances including on series such as 'Laverne and Shirley' and 'Arrested Development', extending her talent to Disney shows with guest spots on 'Austin and Ally' and 'Good Luck Charlie' in 2011.

Following the announcement of her passing, fans took to social media to pay their respects to the actress. Among them was Emmy winner Danny Deraney, who shared a touching tribute: "Just got word that the most beautiful girl in puppet land has passed away. Millions of us loved Lynne Marie Stewart who played Miss Yvonne on Pee Wee's Playhouse. Not only a groundlings legend, but truly an actor that could do anything.", reports the Mirror.
Another admirer wrote: "bonnie kelly was always my favourite secondary character. Every scene she was in would never fail to crack me up. There's so many scenes to pick from but this is one of my favorites. Thank you for the laughs lynne marie stewart <3."
A third fan expressed their sorrow: "man this one hurts :( rip lynne marie stewart."
Jonathan Stark, a friend of Stewart's, also paid his respects on Facebook with a heartfelt post: "I lost a friend today. And the world lost a great soul. Lynne Marie Stewart is gone. Miss Yvonne, 'The Most Beautiful Woman in Puppetland.' It seemed impossible to me as I felt that her goodness and light would live forever. I'm beyond heartbroken."
