Jack White is in a giving mood, surprise-releasing a new live EP and revealing a new initiative to offer college students $20 tickets to all his No Name tour gigs.
No Name Live features five songs taken from shows White played last year in Denver, Atlanta, New Haven, and Dallas, as well as Hobart, Australia. All the songs are from White’s most recent album, No Name.
As for the new concert ticket deal, the particulars were revealed on White’s Instagram. “For every stop on the No Name Tour, a limited number of student tickets will be available to purchase in-person only at each venue’s box office on show day,” the post states. “These tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis with a valid student ID (1 ticket per student ID).” Full info will be available on the individual websites of each venue.

White launched the 2025 leg of his No Name tour earlier this month, and he has a handful of North American dates left, including shows in Brooklyn tonight and tomorrow (Feb. 11 and 12) and gigs in Boston on Feb. 17 and 18. After that, White will head to Europe, U.K., and Japan before another North American leg that starts April 3 in St. Louis and wraps May 24 in Troutdale, Oregon.
White’s $20 student ticket initiative is one of the more notable efforts to make big concerts more affordable, along with the approach the Cure took on their North American tour in 2023. During that run, the band used a fan-to-fan ticket exchange to stop scalping and refused to use dynamic pricing models. Additionally, the Cure simply set prices low on their own, with some venues offering seats for $25.
As for White, before his proper 2025 tour, he was taking a rather unconventional approach to the shows he was playing in support of No Name. When the album dropped last summer White hit the road with little fanfare, playing mostly small venues, and often with little advanced notice.
No Name marked White’s sixth solo album and first since his two 2022 releases, Fear of the Dawn and Entering Heaven Alive.
