Although Jamie broke down in tears with his co-star Matt Edmondson live on Greg's breakfast show this morning - unsure if he was going to make it through the rest of the challenge.
Before starting his first leg this morning, an emotional Jamie said: "The people are so amazing. They're so strong... I've ran 100 kilometers now which is a pretty big feat, and I can't believe the public has donated over £100,000, I feel very blessed and to know where that money's going makes it all the more amazing. But my body is really tired...
"I feel completely drained like a sponge that has been completely rinsed. It's just not what I was expecting. I feel pretty emotional from it all. People are here with signs saying 'go on Jamie!' and I'm trying to find the energy I usually bring but I just can't find that this morning."
He continued, "I'm a little bit broken if I'm honest".
To cheer him up Jamie was joined by this year's The Traitors winners, Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown - as they kept the former Made In Chelsea star's spirts high.
The Traitors winners ran with Jamie from the first pit stop to the second, giving him that positive energy he needed to get through his third day of running an ultra marathon.
Both Leanne and Jake were providing some much needed motivation and companionship as Jamie navigated his way through the country side on the way to his next stop -Loughborough University.
Speaking about Jamie's journey, Traitors star Jake stated: "Remember what you're doing it for, that's the catalyst. All the money you've raised is the biggest motivation."
The funds raised for Radio 1's Ultra Marathon Man with Jamie Laing for Red Nose Day will provide essential support that could help put food on tables and roofs over heads, protect children and assist families affected by conflict both in the UK and globally.
People all round the UK have rallied to show Jamie support, with one supporter leaving a heartwarming message for the star on Radio One's Instagram. The comment wrote: "Me and my daughter were crying on the way to school this morning listening to Jamie struggling and all the lovely messages of encouragement the listeners had sent in.
"We both suffer with anxiety pretty badly (hello mum guilt for passing my worries on to my daughter) But before she got out the car she said 'mum if Jamie can do this then we can face our problems together' COME ON JAMIE!!!!"
