Calderwood passed away four weeks ago at the age of 69 following a lengthy battle with dementia.
The Govan-born ex-Birmingham City midfielder, who played and coached in Holland, was a big Rangers supporter.
Calderwood's family have organised that his wish to pass by Ibrox is carried out and revealed a touching gesture from the club.
His partner Yvonne Buchanan’s son Mark said: “Jimmy’s team was, without question, Rangers.
“As a boy, he dreamed of the day they would knock on his door and invite him to play.
“As a manager, he did come close to the top job there, but it wasn’t meant to be.
“In truth, he would have managed the club for free - or even taken charge of the under-11s - just to be part of the team.
“After his passing, Rangers chairman John Gilligan honoured him with a Glasgow Rangers pin.
