Joshua Jackson to Face Off With Ex Jodie Tuner-Smith in Divorce
Joshua Jackson was ordered to face off with estranged wife Jodie Turner-Smith in court only days after he lost his home, In Touch can exclusively report.
Joshua Jackson and his estranged wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, were ordered to face off as part of their bitter divorce, only days after the actor lost his home in the L.A. fires, In Touch can exclusively report.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, on Tuesday, January 14, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Joshua, 46, and Jodie, 38, to participate in mediation to discuss custody and visitation of their daughter, Juno Jackson.
The judge instructed Joshua and Jodie to attempt to work out a deal on their own. If they are unable to resolve their issues, they are required to personally attend a videoconference on February 10.
The court order comes one day after Joshua revealed he lost his Topanga Canyon home in the Palisades Fire.

Joshua purchased the home, which he grew up in as a kid, in 2001. The actor was born in Canada but raised in the L.A. home until his parents got divorced. He moved back to Canada after they split and then returned to California in 2001.
The actor spoke out about losing his home.
He said, âFirst and most importantly, all the people closest to me affected by the fire are OK.â
He added, âMy daughter, my family, my neighbors all made it out safely. Sadly my beautiful home did not survive the fires. But today, I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by the people I love.â
In the divorce battle, Jodie said Joshua asked her to leave their marital home after the split despite her contributing $800,000 to the down payment of property in Topanga, California, due to Joshua telling her he did not have the ânecessary funds at the time to purchase the land.â
It appears the property that Jodie claims she helped Joshua purchase is not the home Joshua lost in the fire.

As In Touch previously reported, Jodie filed for divorce from Joshua in October 2023.
Recently, Jodie slammed Joshua claiming he has not paid her a dime in support since they split.
âJosh has run up my attorneyâs fees and forensic accounting costs and has made this dissolution far more difficult than necessary. At this point, it is clear that Josh is unwilling to negotiate reasonable [temporary] spousal and child support payments to me, and I am left with no choice but to seek this courtâs intervention and file this instant motion,â Jodie said in her filing.
The actress said she believed Joshua pulled in around $195,000 a month in income compared to her average of $87,500 a month in income.

Jodie said her monthly expenses totaled $58,000 and she has spent over $400,000 on legal fees in the divorce so far. The actress asked the court to order Joshua to cough up a one-time lump sum of $250,000 to cover her fees.
Jodie also asked for $28,641 a month in temporary spousal support and another $8,543 a month in temporary child support for a grand total of $37,184.
âJosh promised to always support me and ensured me that I would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother,â Jodie said in court.
Joshua has yet to respond.
