Josie Gibson shares âdepressingâ love life moment on luxury Dubai trip
Josie Gibson has opened up a 'depressing' moment in her love life as she was treated to a romantic dinner for one in a luxury beach villa for her new Channel 5 travel show
Josie Gibson made an admission about her love life on her new Channel 5 travel series, Around The World in First Class. In the debut episode, the 40 year old TV personality luxuriated in a five-star water villa in Dubai before jetting off to Doha. Kicking off her globetrotting adventure in style, Josie indulged in all the perks of the first-class lounge.
Upon arrival at her £1,500 per night villa, she was left awestruck by the opulence - from the spa to the gourmet cuisine and her personal host, it was luxury at every turn. On her first evening, Josie embarked on a sunset boat trip, a popular spot for romantic proposals. However, there were no rings in sight for Josie as she set off alone with her tour guide. "No proposals for me tonight, but I've definitely had my money's worth," she quipped.

But the lack of romance didn't dampen her spirits, as she enthused: "Seeing Dubai at night from a boat is incredible. The beauty of it is magic. It's at night that Dubai really comes alive.", reports the Mirror.
Post-cruise, she was greeted with a red carpet on the beach and treated to a solo romantic dinner, complete with rose petals. "I feel like this is the closest I'm going to get to a proposal, because this is what it feels like. There is no expense spared here and it feels so romantic right now. And a tiny bit depressing that I'm here on my own."
But she wasn't alone for long, as Chef Julian LaRay soon joined her to whip up a lavish meal, featuring Josie's favourite - sushi. Opening up about her experiences, the star expressed a poignant wish, confessing to fans that she would "have loved to have someone to share this with."

Josie became known for her bubbly romance with Big Brother housemate John James Parton; following a whirlwind TV romance, the pair set up home but eventually called it quits. She found herself headed towards marriage with plumber Luke Sanwo in 2012, but as she candidly revealed to New! Magazine: "The passion has been slowly drifting and now it's pretty much nonexistent. I feel like it's the right thing to do at the moment."
The popular face of This Morning went on to find love with Terry Bond; they joyously welcomed their son Reggie in 2018, but sometime after his arrival, Josie and Terry decided to part ways. Despite the split, their history spans two decades, and during lockdown Terry made the decision to rejoin the household to embrace co-parenting together.
