Julia Fox Wore a Completely Sheer Dress to a 2025 Oscars After-Party

In case you were wondering, the reign of the naked dress isn't over quite yet—at least, not according to Julia Fox. On Sunday night, the actress stepped out at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars party wearing a completely sheer dress paired with nude pumps and a brown wig. The long tendrils of the wig strategically covered parts of Fox's body, but otherwise, she pretty much bared it all.

Fox debuted her daring look just one month after Bianca Censori's dramatic fully nude moment at the Grammys, where she appeared with her husband Kanye West. Censori arrived in a trench coat which she dropped to the floor in front of photographers on the red carpet. The couple then left the awards show, but they reappeared later that night for an after-party, for which Censori donned a second naked dress.
As for the other after-party guests? Fox wasn't the only celebrity to bare it all; Olivia Wilde also embraced the naked dress trend, though with slightly more coverage thanks to a boho-chic gown from Chloé; meanwhile, Keke Palmer pulled a semi-sheer gown from the Versace archives that was also worn by Christina Aguilera back in 2003.

Fox has long been known for her eccentric style, of course. A few days prior to the Oscars, the star stepped out in a pantsless look. One month before that, she chopped off all her hair in a TikTok video and "immediately regretted it."
"It was a long time coming," she explained at the New York premiere of her movie Presence. "I’ve been wanting to do it for a long time, and you know, sometimes in life, you just gotta take the plunge and do it. It’ll grow back, it’s just hair.”
