Justin Baldoni Launches Website With ‘Timeline’ in Blake Lively Feud
Justin Baldoni isn’t holding back in his feud with Blake Lively. The actor launched a website with a ‘Timeline of Relevant Events’ available to the public.
Justin Baldoni is making sure all of his bases are covered in his feud with Blake Lively by launching his new website, The Lawsuit. The site, which became available to the public on Saturday, February 1, includes a PDF download of the $400 million lawsuit he filed against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, along with a separate document showcasing a “Timeline of Relevant Events.”
The “Timeline of Relevant Events” takes readers back to when Baldoni, 41, first contacted Colleen Hoover, the author of It Ends With Us, via email in 2019 and expressed interest in adapting the book into a film. At the time, Hoover, 45, responded by saying that he was “the right person to make this movie.”
Also included were screenshots of alleged messages exchanged between Lively, 37, and Baldoni as the film’s production moved forward, including one alleged message from the Gossip Girl alum responding to Baldoni by writing, “[y]ou’re safe here[.]” Baldoni’s legal team claimed that this indicated “he need not worry about his choice of words and could speak freely.”
Another text message conversation allegedly featured Baldoni introducing himself to Reynolds, 48, and telling the Deadpool star he “wanted to be friends.” Reynolds allegedly replied by telling Baldoni he had been a “wonderful collaborator” and that he would have his “line producer’s face tattooed on [his] perineum if he/she/they could figure out how to start [filming It Ends With Us] two weeks later.” The IF actor concluded his message by telling Baldoni he “absolutely adored” him.
The “timeline” also featured the alleged messages from Lively describing herself as Khaleesi from Game of Thrones and claiming she had a “few dragons,” which were believed to be Taylor Swift and Reynolds.
In Lively’s lawsuit that was filed in December 2024, she accused Baldoni of inappropriate behavior on set, as well as fat-shaming her after asking their shared trainer about her weight. Baldoni claimed that he only inquired about her weight due to his recent back problems and wanted to make sure he wasn’t going to be injured. In documents available on Baldoni’s website, they allege that this led to him being berated by Reynolds.
“Baldoni was summoned by Lively to her penthouse and greeted by Reynolds, who swore at Baldoni and accused him of fat-shaming his wife. (‘How dare you f–king ask about my wife’s weight? What’s wrong with you?’),” the paperwork reads. “The tone from Reynolds and Lively was so aggressive that Baldoni felt he had no choice but to offer repeated (and completely unwarranted) apologies for what was a good-faith and reasonable question to his trainer (not Lively). Reynolds demanded that Baldoni remove the lift scene entirely.”

In the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants actress’ lawsuit, she stated “the scene wasn’t even in the Film,” and Baldoni’s legal counsel claimed she was “suggesting it never existed.”
“Contrary to her attempt to manipulate verifiable facts, the only reason the scene was not in the Film is that Lively and Reynolds demanded it be removed, despite the fact that it had already been rehearsed with a stunt-double,” the “timeline” alleges. “Accommodating Lively, Baldoni re-wrote the scene with her despite the fact that, for creative reasons, he felt the scene was necessary.”
On January 16, Baldoni filed suit against Lively, Reynolds and her publicist Leslie Sloane, accusing them of “civil extortion.” Lively’s representative denied the claims.

“The strategy of attacking the woman is desperate, it does not refute the evidence in Ms. Lively’s complaint, and it will fail,” the representative said in a statement to In Touch.
On Monday, January 27, In Touch reported that Lively had demanded a judge stop Baldoni from launching his website with “all correspondence.”
“The planned website will release what [Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman,] self-servingly proclaims will be ‘full unedited WhatsApp, text and email exchanges between [Blake] and [Justin],’ although neither the media nor public will have any way of knowing which communications [Bryan] has selectively omitted from disclosure, including communications that Mr. Freedman and his clients may have deleted,” Blake’s team said.
However, Freedman told In Touch in a statement, “We will not be selective, we will not cherry pick and we will not doctor text messages. Both Ms. Lively and Mr Reynolds do not yet understand that there isn’t one rule for them and one rule for everybody else. We are not scared of them, we will not be silenced by them. Defending ourselves is not retaliation, it is a human right.”
