Justin Baldoni And Blake Lively’s Explosive Texts On Body Image Surface Amid Legal Battle

On February 17, 2023, Lively asked Baldoni, "What's the chance we can do body scenes at the end of the schedule?"

To which Baldoni explained that there are "one billion moving parts to schedule right now," and it "comes down to locations and other cast availability."

While he admitted he has "no clue" when those scenes will be shot, he went on to reassure Lively by telling her:

"I want you to know, you will look amazing. Anytime you are insecure about [it] we will talk [it] through and get creative together and make you comfortable. I just don't want you to stress about your body. It's the last thing you need. As soon as I have a rough schedule that's even remotely accurate, I'll share and I'll make sure the team keeps this in mind as well [red heart emoji]."

Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni’s 'It Ends With Us' Feud Escalates

This conversation was made public days after Lively's texts of her comparing herself to "Game of Thrones"’ Khaleesi, the Mother of Dragons, while defending her creative vision for the film.

As The Blast reported, Lively referred to Reynolds and best friend, Taylor Swift, as her “dragons,” implying they were backing her in the dispute.

The tension reportedly stemmed from a key rooftop scene in the film, which Lively reworked to better align with her vision. While Reynolds and Swift reportedly applauded her revisions, Baldoni’s reaction was far less enthusiastic, creating friction between the two co-stars.

Leaked Behind-The-Scenes Footage Adds Another Layer To The Dispute

Adding another layer of controversy, Baldoni’s countersuit accuses Lively of making negative comments about his appearance, even suggesting he consider plastic surgery for his nose.

In the clip, Lively can be heard joking about her spray tan, saying, "I’m probably getting spray tan on you."

To which Baldoni laughs and responds, "It smells good."

While some might view the exchange as harmless banter, Baldoni’s legal team argues that it contributes to a pattern of double standards in their legal fight.

A Hollywood Feud That’s Far From Over

A 2 a.m. voice note from Baldoni to Lively was also recently made public, where he said, "You and I have been trying to build a relationship which I think we've done successfully. Here we are talking together at 2 am in the morning."

"But largely via text and voicemail and I will admit, that's not my biggest strength," he added. "I love being with people and being in somebody's space and being face-to-face and I think that's where I excel."

With text messages, behind-the-scenes footage, and explosive allegations continuing to surface, the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is showing no signs of slowing down.

As both sides dig in for a long courtroom fight, this Hollywood feud is only getting messier.

Canada trails Hungary 2-0 after singles losses in Davis Cup qualifier - Sports

MONTREAL — Canada must overcome a 2-0 deficit against Hungary to advance in the Davis Cup men's team tennis tournament. Fabian Marozsan defeated Alexis Galarneau before Marton Fucsovics toppled Gabriel Diallo on Saturday at IGA Stadium, giving Hungary a commanding lead in the best-of-five, first-round qualifier. “It was a difficult day for us, for sure, Canadian team captain Frank Dancevic said. That said, we’re down 2-0 but I believe in this team that we can come back tomorrow. Win doubles, and I believe with our players that we can win the tie. Even if we’re down 2-0, we can come back and win.” Maroszan prevailed 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 against Galarneau, of Laval, Que., in the opening match. Montreal's Diallo won his first set, but Fucsovics fired back to take the match 3-6, 6-2, 6-2. Fucsovics, a veteran who's currently ranked 96th, saved six of seven break points while breaking No. 85 Diallo four times. He started serving better, more solid, giving up less, Diallo said of what changed after the first set. I had a bad game in the first set, he broke me, and that freed him up. He started playing better, picking his spots on serves. That put pressure on me to serve better and try to do a little more than I needed to. I think it's an accumulation of a few small things that turned the match around. The 176th-ranked Galarneau said No. 58 Maroszan played a complete game in their tight matchup. Off of both forehand and backhand, he can generate power and be dangerous, Galarneau said. But also his serve, I was surprised by serve. I thought he served really precisely and mixed it up quite well, so credit to him. Vasek Pospisil of Vernon, B.C., and Liam Draxl of Newmarket, Ont., are scheduled to take on Marozsan and Mate Valkusz in Sunday’s must-win doubles match. If necessary, Diallo would meet Marozsan in a fourth matchup and Galarneau would battle Fucsovics in a fifth. Dancevic wouldn't reveal if he'd change his lineup now that Canada's back is against the wall. Even if I were to change, I don't think I'd tell you right now, he said. There's no panic buttons going off right now in the locker room. It is what it is, we're down 2-0, but that's part of being a professional, part of being in this sport is you're always looking for solutions to get back. We're not done, we haven't lost, we've always fought to the end in the past. The winner of the two-day tie advances to the second round of qualifiers in September. The losing team will be relegated to the World Group 1 level. Canada has lost in the quarterfinals the last two years and won nine of its last 10 home ties. This report by The Canadian Press was first published Feb. 1, 2025
