Kaia Gerber’s Book Club Library Science: See All of the 2025 Picks
Kaia Gerber and Alyssa Reeder lead the online book club and community Library Science, which aims to "highlight new voices, writers to watch, overlooked, or underrepresented stories." See all of their 2025 book selections here.
Kaia Gerber is serving up all of the reading recommendations with her online book club, Library Science.
The actress and model, 23, first began sharing her book recommendations online with her friend, Alyssa Reeder, in 2020. Since then, the two launched Library Science, an online reading community aimed at getting young people enthusiastic about literature.
“Library Science will continue to curate books that aren't on the typical bestseller lists in order to better highlight new voices, writers to watch, overlooked, or underrepresented stories – and for greater context, we will occasionally throw in a classic that might better inform contemporary work,” the platform’s website states.

Library Science picks have included books by celebrities, like Laura Dern and Emily Ratajkowski, as well as rising literary stars, like Kaveh Akbar and Gabriel Smith. The club also hosts conversations with selected authors (archived interviews are available on Library Science’s YouTube channel), and fosters their literary community on Instagram too.

“We'll cover writers and books from all points of view to reinforce the truth that ALL books are for everyone ... and that we often learn the most from the stories that aren't our own,” Library Science’s website says.

The book club's first selection of the year is a poetic look at the longest-running house party in South London. Compiled of sonnets, text messages, photos and more, Library Science says that this read will make readers “feel drunk just reading it.”
