Kanye West Dropped from Talent Agency Following Displays of Antisemitic Behavior
Kanye West is no longer a client at the L.A.-based talent agency 33 & West.
Kanye West is no longer being represented by the Los Angeles-based talent agency 33&West, a representative for the company confirms. West has been removed from agency’s music roster and the representative did not disclose how long he had been their client.
Daniel McCartney of 33&West was tasked as West’s agent and posted to Instagram on Monday that he and the agency would stop working with the rapper “effective immediately… due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33&West can stand for.”
West has been in the news since his surprise appearance at the Grammys on Feb. 2 when he showed up on the carpet with his wife, Bianca Censori, who appeared nude. West followed the spectacle by publishing numerous inappropriate and racist posts to his X account, which was subsequently deactivated.

At one point during his X storm, West wrote that “he loves when Jewish people come to me and say they can’t work with me.” He also stated that he is “never apologizing for my Jewish comments.” More explicitly, West referred to himself as a Nazi and described Hitler as “so fresh.”
He continued this tirade on a bigger scale, premiering a Yeezy.com advertisement during Sunday night’s Super Bowl that touted the sale of a swastika T-shirt (at $20 each). The site has since been taken down by the e-commerce platform Shopify.
On Tuesday morning, a former marketing staffer for West sued him, alleging that he fired her after calling her ugly and texting her “Hail Hitler.” The staffer, who is Jewish, alleges that West routinely targeted his Jewish employees with hateful and antisemitic comments.
The lawsuit, filed in L.A. Superior Court, includes text messages from West to employees in which he wrote “I Am A Nazi,” and “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.”
These are not the first instances of antisemitic behavior from West. The rapper was restricted on X in 2022 after a post in which declared that he wanted to go “death con 3 on Jewish people.” The 2022 rant led to widespread backlash and resulted in Adidas terminating its contract with West.
