Kanye West Posts On Social Media, Apologizes To Kamala Harris And Follows Taylor SwiftThe rapper had a lot to say Saturday on X.
Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, went on a posting spree on X, formerly called Twitter, on Saturday, where he shared a screenshot of texts between him and Elon Musk, announced that he only follows Taylor Swift on Instagram and said he doesnāt want to āf**kā former Vice President Kamala Harris following her loss in last yearās election.
Ā
āI used to want to fuck Kamala until she lost,ā Ye wrote in a since-deleted post, according to Newsweek. āI donāt fuck losers anymore.ā
In a follow-up post, he said, āThe democrats made me take the loser post down. Naw Iām kidding. Dey donāt control black people no more. Trump 4 life.ā
Ā
After that, he shared another post directed at Harris, writing, āKamala seems like a very nice human I just wanna say sorry to her kids.ā
Ā
Ā
Ye was reinstated on X in 2023 after he was banned a year prior for posting a picture of a swastika entangled with a Star of David.
On Saturday, Ye also gave thanks to the Grammys for nominating his song, āCarnival,ā at this yearās ceremony, before going on to write in another post on the social media platform that he ācan say whatever the fuckā he wants.
Ā
Ā
Ā
As for Yeās post regarding Swift, some fans of the pop star are upset that heās following her on Instagram considering her complicated relationship with the rapper.
Ā
Ye and Swift have had a long-standing feud since he interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. They briefly made up when Swift presented Ye with the Video Vanguard Award at the 2015 VMAs, but things turned sour the next year when he released his song, āFamous,ā which included the lyrics, āI feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.ā
Ā
When Swift claimed Ye never told her about the lyrics before he released the song, his wife at the time, Kim Kardashian, shared an edited clip of a phone call between Swift and Ye that suggested Swift approved the lyrics.
Ā
Shortly after, Swift responded to the clip on social media, writing, āWhere is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me āthat bitchā in his song? It doesnāt exist because it never happened.ā
Ā
The music video for āFamousā only made matters worse. In it, a naked Swift look-alike lies in bed with other celebrity look-alikes. In 2019, Swift called the music video ārevenge porn.ā
Swiftās reps did not immediately respond to a request for comment about Ye following her on Instagram.
"What's something that you never get to see in action thrillers? Queer people having sex," the author tells Out.
