Kanye West has made an odd move on social media as the singer's long-running feud with Taylor Swift takes another bizarre turn.
The 47-year-old, who has made headlines recently for his recent SKIMS-inspired clothing line, took another swipe at Taylor recently, after appearing to reference her on his 2024 album. One of the tracks on Vultures 2 includes guest vocalist Lil Wayne saying: "I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce."
The line was presumably a reference to Taylor's new partner, who is a Kansas City Chiefs tight end. The couple never commented on the track or the reference to them.
And now, following a decade and a half of bad blood between the two, Kanye has made another strange move, by making Taylor the only person he follows on social media. Taylor does not follow Kanye back.

Getty Images)The artist does have a history of unpredictable behaviour on social media - sometimes he removes all his content and at others he only shows posts about his wife, Bianca Censori. His Twitter account was also suspended after he was accused of making anti-semitic remarks.
The move is likely to confuse anyone who has followed the saga between them, which has been ongoing for the last decade-and-a-half. Taylor, 34, was dragged into a feud by Kanye, aka Ye, 15 years ago, when he ambushed the singer-songwriter on stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
Taylor, aged just 20 at the time, was giving an acceptance speech when Kanye emerged, grabbing the mic from her and declaring she shouldn't have won. He told the audience and Taylor: "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'mma let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all-time! One of the best videos of all-time." Beyonce later asked Taylor back on to the stage to let her finish her speech.

Instagram/ye)Since, Kanye has embarked on a largely one-sided vendetta against Taylor Swift, following up the mortifying incident when he went on to call her a 'b****' in one of his tracks. He claimed at the time he had her permission, which led to a public feud between Taylor and Kanye and his then-wife Kim Kardashian. Kim later weighed in again on the dispute, alluding to Taylor in a tweet about 'National Snake Day'.
In 2019, Taylor spoke to Vogue about how the spat had affected her and her mental health, describing the feud as a "mass public shaming", which made her feel 'very isolated'.
She told the publication: "When you say someone is canceled, it's not a TV show. It's a human being. You're sending mass amounts of messaging to this person to either shut up, disappear, or it could also be perceived as, 'Kill yourself'."
Taylor added: "I knew immediately I needed to make music about it because I knew it was the only way I could survive it. It was the only way I could preserve my mental health and also tell the story of what it's like to go through something so humiliating."
