Kanye West 'imposes dating rule' on Kim Kardashian three years after divorce
The rapper and his ex-wife called time on their marriage in 2022, but he has now allegedly issued an order preventing her from dating a specific group of people
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's marriage may have ended in November 2022, but the rapper is allegedly still involved with his ex-wife's love life.
The controversial star has been making headlines globally for his erratic behaviour, most recently when his second wife, Bianca Censori, appeared almost naked on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards.
Some of Kanye's more outrageous antics have cost him an estimated $1.2bn (ÂŁ961m) as multiple brands have severed ties with him. Despite this, he continues to pay Kim a reported $200,000 per month in child support.
According to a source close to Kanye, the rapper has imposed strict conditions on his ex-wife's behaviour.
The insider told Heat Magazine: "Kim and Kanye are on speaking terms at the moment, but the one thing he's stipulated is that Kim cannot date any rappers â with a heavy emphasis on the ones he's collaborated with."
It is believed that Kanye's restrictions were sparked by Kim's close friendship with rival rapper Drake. Rumours began circulating shortly after the couple separated that Kim was growing close to the Canadian rapper, who is known to be on good terms with the entire Kardashian family, reports the Mirror.

Drake has famously clashed with several hip hop figures, often channelling these feuds into his music. His songs are not just insults at rivals, but they are also deeply personal narratives.
Take the 2018 track In My Feelings, where Drake drops hints about a love interest he calls "Kiki". This name drop sparked speculation that he was hinting at Kim.
A source revealed: "When Kanye found out, he went ballistic. And that's when he instigated his rule."
Kim seems unbothered by her ex's unusual edict. The source alleged: "Surprisingly, Kim agreed to Kanye's demand, because she doesn't want to disrespect the father of her children."
Since parting ways with Kanye, Kim has been linked to notable figures such as Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson and Baltimore Ravens player Odell Beckham Jr. She is currently seeing a real estate investor, keeping things as private as possible.
Kim reportedly called it quits with Kanye over his unpredictable actions; his backing of far-right groups and vocal support for Donald Trump being key issues.

A confidant told People magazine: "What causes friction in the marriage, however, is Kanye's compulsive tweeting. Kim can't stand it. She is all for self-promotion, but doesn't approve of Twitter drama."
The ongoing struggles with Kanye undeniably continue to influence Kim's life post-split.
Kim initially opened up about her husband's bipolar diagnosis in 2020, stating on Instagram: "I've never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye's right to privacy when it comes to his health," Kim penned.
"I kindly ask that the media and public give us the compassion and empathy that is needed so that we can get through this."
Representatives for Kanye West have been approached for comment.
