Kanye West on X: 'Elon Stole My Nazi Swag'
Kanye West returned to X with a fresh string of wildly offensive posts, including a call for Donald Trump to 'free' Sean Combs.
Ye is tweeting the same antisemitic, racist, misogynistic stuff again. He's also asking Donald Trump to free Sean Combs
Kanye West is tweeting again.Â
Starting Thursday night, the once-noted musician took to his X account where he started spewing a lot of the same kind of antisemitic stuff that got him banned from the platform last time. There were also homophobic, misogynistic, and ableist posts â grim sign of the times stuff â and instead of âBILL COSBY INNOCENT,â we got â@DonaldTrump PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF.â
All the vile posts are still up (for now). We should all recognize petulant attention-seeking behavior when we see it, and thereâs nothing particularly novel about Ye recycling âSlavery is a choice,â or expressing his admiration for the Nazis and asking to be called âYAYDOLF YITLER.âÂ
Weâve been here before. In Dec. 2022, Ye delivered another string of antisemitic posts, including an image of a swastika intertwined with a Star of David. X owner Elon Musk banned Ye, saying heâd âviolated our rule against incitement to violence.â His account, however, was reinstated about eight months later.
It remains to be seen if Musk â who may be a bit busy ransacking the federal government to pay attention â will think the same this time around, especially in this new political paradigm where âprotecting free speechâ is sooooo important. Maybe even more so, itâs hard to imagine Musk would want to silence a super famous person when they seem to be speaking so highly of him. âELON STOLE MY NAZI SWAG AT THE INAUGURATION Â YOOOO MY GUY Â Â GET YOUR OWN THIRD RALE.â
