"This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify," a rep for the shopping site stated

Kanye West‘s Yeezy website, which as of yesterday only sold a t-shirt with a large swastika on it, has been removed. On Tuesday, a Shopify spokesperson confirmed to Rolling Stone that it had taken down the rapper’s website for violating its terms.

“All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform,” read the statement. “This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify.”

Shopify’s terms of service state that it will act “to restrict products or activities that we deem unsafe, inappropriate or offensive.”

The store’s removal comes after West purchased airtime during the Super Bowl for a Yeezy commercial. The clip, reportedly shot with an iPhone, featured West in a dentist’s chair asking people to go to his website where he was selling the white t-shirt with a swastika.

Also, on Tuesday, a former Yeezy staffer sued the musician after allegedly targeting her for her Jewish religion, sending pornographic materials, and insulting her looks when she was upset. The staffer, who sued as Jane Doe, claims he referred to himself as Hitler and a Nazi. The woman alleges she was subjected to abusive behavior during her six-month employment and was fired after reporting it. Her lawsuit includes accusations of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation.

West’s account on X was deactivated Monday after he went on a spree of posting wildly offensive stuff on the platform. Musk said on the platform over the weekend, “Given what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW. You should not be seeing that anymore.”
