Rapper Kanye West and his partner Bianca Censori caused a global stir with their shocking antics at the Grammy Awards. The couple made quite the entrance on the red carpet when Bianca shed her fur coat, revealing a completely sheer dress underneath.
The audacious move reportedly led to them being escorted out of the music event by irate organisers, while some speculated that they could face police action for indecent exposure. Viewers tuning into the live stream were left gobsmacked by Kanye's most outrageous stunt yet, particularly as a child was present on the red carpet at the same time.
Despite the backlash, Kanye, 47, and Bianca, 30, have both stood by their actions, sharing pictures of the incident on their social media accounts. Just over a day after their headline-making appearance, Kanye has now unveiled the real reason behind his wife's nude display on the red carpet.
On Instagram, Kanye announced the launch of a women's wear line for his brand Yeezy, with the outfit Bianca wore on the night of the Grammys being the first item up for sale. Ye revealed the "first women's piece" in an Instagram post featuring a photo of a black thong bodysuit - identical to the one Bianca sported at the Grammy's afterparty.

What seemed to be a daring choice for the Grammy's afterparty by Bianca was later revealed to have been a strategic move to advertise Kanye's new fashion venture. A post on Kanye's social media displayed Bianca in the very same outfit, along with the announcement, "First women's piece @yeezy.com."
This latest fashion statement is part of Ye's brand, already known for its variety of apparel including hoodies, tees, and socks.
Social media users quickly connected the dots that Bianca had worn the piece to the event's after-party, sparking comments such as: "Why couldn't Bianca at least wear this at the Grammys? " followed by responses like, "She wore it to the after party."

It's been reported that his two upcoming shows at the Tokyo Dome in May are now under threat. As we previously mentioned, an insider told the Daily Mail that Kanye's backers for these shows might withdraw their support following his controversial appearance at the Grammys.
The source described the reaction in Japan to his "creepy" red carpet antics as one of "greeted with horror". They also suggested that Kanye has "greatly misjudged the tolerance" of the Japanese public.
This could be a major setback for the star, who is believed to have been living in Japan for about a year.
