ENA’s upcoming drama “Namib” has shared a new glimpse of Go Hyun Jung and Ryeoun’s journey!
“Namib” tells the story of Kang Soo Hyun (Go Hyun Jung), a former entertainment agency CEO who winds up working together with Yoo Jin Woo (Ryeoun), a longtime trainee who gets kicked out of his company.
After founding Pandora Entertainment with the help of her husband, music producer Shim Joon Seok (Yoon Sang Hyun), Kang Soo Hyun becomes a highly successful CEO. Every idol group she produces is a huge success—but when she ends up getting kicked out of her own company, her life undergoes a drastic change. Because Kang Soo Hyun was the breadwinner of her household, the sudden downfall of her career has a major impact on her family.
While facing an uncertain future, Kang Soo Hyun discovers Yoo Jin Woo, a former trainee that was expelled from Pandora Entertainment. Enlisting the help of her husband, she sets out to get both herself and Yoo Jin Woo back on their feet.
In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Kang Soo Hyun passionately tries to turn Yoo Jin Woo into a star by taking special care of him. Kang Soo Hyun sends Yoo Jin Woo on an audition program, and in order to ensure his victory, she teaches him how to catch people’s eye and spares no expense on his dance and vocal training.
The serious look in Kang Soo Hyun and Shim Joon Seok’s eye as they watch Yoo Jin Woo sing reveals just how determined the married couple is to make him a success.
“Namib” premieres on December 23 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.
