Kelsey Parker details 'upsetting' public ordeal
Kelsey Parker has opened up on finding new love, while revealing "some people aren't happy".
The mother of two, who tragically lost her husband Tom Parker, a member of The Wanted, to a rare brain tumour in 2022, is now in a new relationship with partner, Will Lindsay and recently shared the news of her pregnancy. Appearing on ITV's Lorraine on Tuesday (February 25), Kelsey spoke about dealing with judgement and online trolling.
She said: "I'm just so happy but some people aren't happy and it does upset me but like you said, 'walk a day in my shoes'. Live my lived experience then you might have a different opinion."
Kelsey also went on to compare her life to fictional character Bridget Jones, who is dealing with the loss of her husband Mark Darcey in the latest flick. In the new movie Bridget (Renée Zellweger), who is a mother of two, navigates finding new love as a mother of two.

As Lorraine complimented Kelsey on how well her children behaved, Kelsey said: "Bridget talks about that in the film. Because they've lost their dad, I have given them all of me. I've been mum and dad to them. So they probably have a bit too much of mummy, but I'm compensating for them losing their dad."
Discussing her pregnancy, Kelsey said her daughter Aurelia, five, and son Bodhi, four, couldn't be more excited about their new sibling. She shared: "It's nice for them to have some joy and happiness."

"Bodhi was 18 months when Tom died, it's been a life of sadness for him. It's a light at the end of our tunnel," she shared.
The expectant mum then added: "It's good for them to see me happy. Me being sad in bed not being able to get up, devastated at the loss of their dad, I'm now happy."

Despite negative opinions online, Kelsey also shared that Tom's mum is happy for her daughter-in-law's new found happiness. She told Lorraine: "Noreen said as long as you're happy, we're happy, and she's so excited to have a new grandchild.
"They're up north, so it's hard for us to see each other, but every Sunday we FaceTime or whenever anything happens. Aurelia recently won her school talent show, and straight away we went to FaceTime, the children have such a good relationship with their grandparents."
Lorraine airs Mondays-Fridays at 9am on ITV1.
