Kelsey Parker shares touching support from Tom's parents over her pregnancy
Kelsey Parker, the widow of The Wanted's Tom Parker, has spoken about her relationship with Tom's parents since his tragic death and how they've been supportive of her new pregnancy
Kelsey Parker shared the heartfelt support she's received from her late husband, The Wanted singer Tom Parker's parents, during her new pregnancy. Kelsey, who tragically became a widow when Tom passed away in 2022 after battling an incurable brain tumour, is expecting a baby with her new beau, Will Lindsay.
While chatting with Lorraine Kelly on her show today, Kelsey opened up about the loving reaction from Tom's mum: "Noreen said as long as you're happy, we're happy, and she's so excited to have a new grandchild." Kelsey elaborated on the family dynamics, revealing their Sunday FaceTime sessions with her children Aurelia and Bodhi. She said: "They're up north, so it's hard for us to see each other, but every Sunday we FaceTime or whenever anything happens. Aurelia recently won her school talent show, and straight away we went to FaceTime, the children have such a good relationship with their grandparents."

Kelsey also opened up about her children's excitement over the new baby expected in June. She shared that while her daughter Aurelia is hoping for a sister, her son Bodhi wants a brother.
She reflected on the importance of this joy for her kids, especially since Bodhi was only 18 months old when their father Tom passed away. "It's nice for them to have joy and happiness, because Bodhi was just 18 months old when Tom died," she said, reports the Mirror.
"It's been a life of sadness for him, so it's a light at the end of our tunnel. I think it's good for them to see me happy, not me being sad in bed, not being able to get up, devastated at the loss of their dad, I am now happy. Will has brought such an amazing energy into our lives as well, and he is great with them."

Kelsey also drew parallels between her life and the plot of the new movie Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, where Bridget navigates widowhood and the challenges of moving on. "In the film, Bridget is scared to move on and go out and date, and it is hard to date," she explained.
"So for me, I just felt like Will was sent to me because he is just perfect and he loves Tom and he loves to hear stories about Tom. He embraces Tom and our family, which is really good."

As they anticipate the arrival of their baby, Kelsey expressed her excitement, contrasting it with the heartbreak she experienced during her previous pregnancy with Bodhi, when Tom was diagnosed with a brain tumour at 35 weeks pregnant.
"I was in fight mode the whole time and I want to enjoy every moment of this," she expressed. "I had the added stress of treatment, Tom having chemo, radiotherapy, dealing with the fact of this is what our life was going to look like. It was such a tough time, and I just want people to be happy for me."
