Kendrick Lamar and SZA fans fume as O2 Priority sale kicks off for UK tour
Fans are not happy
The first presale kicked off today for Kendrick Lamar and SZA's UK tour - and fans aren't pleased.
Kendrick and SZA announced they were adding 13 UK and European dates onto their highly-anticipated Grand National Tour, which kicks off in Minneapolis in April.
The European leg of the tour kicks off with Cologne, Germany, on 2 July, before heading to Frankfurt, Glasgow, Birmingham, Amsterdam, Paris, Cardiff, London, Lisbon, Barcelona, Rome, Warsaw and finishing up in Stockholm on 9 August.
The pair will visit Glasgow's Hampden Park National Stadium (July 8), Birmingham's Villa Park (July 10), Cardiff's Principality Stadium (July 19) and London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (July 22).
Today, February 12, the first set of tickets were released for fans with O2 Priority access and people have flocked to social media to express their outrage at the prices.
On X, formerly Twitter, @VibesPatron wrote: "Omo those Kendrick prices! I couldnât press confirm", and @fchxghtai added: "kendrick these ticket prices are cruel".
@MaryxSSS said: "Iâve seen Kendrick and Sza live many times but eye those prices lemme rethink it", and @siamaakhtar said: "SZA and Kendrick prices were CRAZY. And this is only presale??? Like WHATTT?? Nosebleeds being in the 100s. Anyways I used my credit card see you there with a skinny body I canât afford to eat till then".
The outrage kept on coming as @imxxnia said: "These ticket prices for Kendrick are ridiculous", and @LukeEaglesFly said: "I love Kendrick Lamar but if you think it paying 150 to see him you've lost your damn mind. Ticket prices are a disgrace these days. Saw him 7 years ago for 50 quid".
@BrightyMVP said: "was actually in shock when i seen it was ÂŁ200 to stand ffs what have we came to as a society", and @rachaelmanleytb said: "Them Kendrick and SZA ticket prices are actually diabolical".
@JoeCWard said: "Yeah Iâm sorry Kendrick and Sza but I cannot defend those ticket prices. Charging more than oasis is crazy."
It comes after Beyonce Cowboy Carter UK tour tickets had its first presale yesterday, February 11, which led Queen B fans to kick off about the prices too.
@lovesickleigh said: "If these are the prices in 2025 for artists like Beyonce, SZA, Kendrick then I donât even want to imagine what theyâll be like for 2026.. the jump is HUGEEEE."
How much do the tickets cost for SZA and Kendrick's UK Tour?
It has been confirmed that tickets to see SZA and Kendrick on their Grand National Tour will cost between ÂŁ75.60 to ÂŁ571, plus a ÂŁ2.50 handling fee. A specific breakdown of ticket prices has not yet been released but we will update this when it is.
