Kerry Katona 'cancels facelift after children begged her not to do it'
Kerry Katona has revealed that she's cancelled her lower facelift after her children begged her not to go through with it.
Kerry Katona has revealed that she's cancelled her lower facelift after her children begged her not to go through with it.Â
The former Atomic Kitten star, 44, previously revealed that she had planned the cosmetic procedure for this month and was 'excited' to go under the knife.
However, Kerry has seemingly had a change of heart and called off the operation after her daughters 'massively impacted' her decision.Â
In a new interview with The Mirror, the star - who just last year had a corrective nose operation - admitted that 'now is not the right time' for her latest procedure.
She explained: 'My eldest three girls really didnât want me to do it, they were begging me not to and said "Mum, please donât".'
She continued: 'I do go off of what my kids think and I knew they didnât want me to so that massively impacted my decision. They donât think I need it yet and they know how tough the recovery will be, so they really didnât want me to do it.'

Kerry, is a mother to Molly, 23, Lilly, 23, from her marriage to Brian McFadden, Heidi, 17, and Max, 16, with second husband Mark Croft and youngest child, DJ, 10, with her late husband, George Kay.
Speaking further about while she cancelled the facelift, Kerry explained how the recovery period would have been really 'tough' as she recalled her struggle to recover from her recent nose surgery as 'the most horrendous thing'.
She said: 'Itâs tough emotionally while recovering because you look so different and itâs hard to get your head around. I had to get it done medically and it wasnât just a vanity choice, but It was really hard. I did get a bit scared, I donât think Iâm ready to do something else now.'
She added that she doesn't have the 'time' for a lengthy recovery at the moment as 'everything is so busy'.Â
While she's not planning on going under the knife just yet, Kerry remarked that she has instead opted for some non-surgical tweaks, revealing that she's recently had Botox while she plans to also have invisible filler.
At age 44, the singer insisted that she's 'definitely entitled' to get some tweaks if she wants to, declaring she has 'no shame' in it.Â
And while she's cancelled her surgery for now, Kerry remarked that she hasn't ruled it out in the future.Â
Kerry explained that she's pushed back the procedure for 'a year or two' and will head to the Pall Mall clinic as it's the only place she 'trusts'.Â

In December, Kerry revealed her plans for the lower facelift and had turned to her surgery-obsessed pal Katie Price for guidance and 'moral support'.
Katie, 46, has long been known for her love of going under the knife and has had numerous procedures over the years including facelifts, breast enhancements, rhinoplasty.
So it's little wonder Kerry has leaned on her friend for support, with the star remarking in her new! magazine column that she's both 'excited' and apprentice for the surgery.Â
Opening up about her plans, Kerry explained: 'Iâve got my lower facelift coming up in January, which Iâm excited about â but Iâm also so nervousÂ
'I always get really nervous when it comes to anything being done to my face, but I know it will be worth it.'
On her pal's help, she continued: 'Katie is going to come to stay with me when I get it done for moral support, which I really appreciate.
'She'd had the procedure done before, so she knows what Iâll be going through and will be able to ease my nerves and anxiety, while helping during my recovery too.'
She added: 'Katie is in such a good headspace right now and itâs amazing to see, Iâm so proud of her. She has been a real pillar of support for me these past few months.'
A lower facelift, known as a jowl lift is a procedure 'designed to reduce loose skin around the lower half of the face (mainly the jowls) and neck', according to the NHS, and is designed to address the signs of ageing.Â
This isn't the first time Kerry has gone under the knife or enlisted an aesthetic practitioner to alter her appearance. Last month she hit back at cruel trolls after they blasted her recent lip tweakment and compared her to a 'duck 'Â
While in July Kerry revealed plans for her fourth boob job while also opening up about her upcoming faceliftÂ
Back in June, the star looked drastically different after revealing the results of her recent nose job which l eft her in tearsÂ

Kerry previously revealed she was getting a rib removed to make her new nose and would be used to replace cartilage 'to make it look a bit smaller' (pictured with her surgeon)Â Â
