Kerry Katona defends Katie Price for unlikely reason after cancer claim
EXCLUSIVE: Kerry Katona has defended pal Katie Price in her weekly column, after the glamour model received backlash for backing claims that CBD brand 'cured' tumours.
Kerry Katona has backed pal Katie Price up in her exclusive OK! column this week, after the latter faced criticism for supporting boxer Anthony Fowler's claims that his CBD brand, Supreme CBD, cured his 2-year-old daughter's tumours.
A social media post saw Katie share how Anthony and his wife refused hospital treatment for tumours in their daughter's leg, and instead used CBD to cure it. This caused outrage amongst Katie's followers, who were unimpressed with her promotion of the product and its claims.
Here, Kerry reveals why she is backing Katie on this one, and details her own relationship with Anthony. The 44-year-old also shares her thoughts on Celebrity Big Brother and sends her love to Gladiator star Steel, following the tragic death of his baby son.

I’ve been working with the brand and Anthony, for years and I absolutely love it. No one is claiming that CBD can cure cancer, they are simply saying that it helped his daughter. I introduced Katie to the brand and, if I’m honest, I think people just like to be negative towards her, no matter what the situation is.

She told me she’d be getting here at 4.30am and I’m always awake around 4am every day anyway, since I can’t sleep, so I said i’d be up to let her in. I couldn’t believe it but somehow I managed to sleep in and she was left outside the house for three hours waiting! Thank god it’s quite warm and she had the car, but I did feel awful. Although, it was also absolutely hilarious - she filmed lots of different video clips in different accents while waiting for me to get up. Full HouseWe all know I love Celebrity Big Brother and I’m so glad it’s back, I’m already hooked. I think this series is going to be interesting, there’s a real mix of people. I love Chris Hughes. I’ve known him for a while and he’s always been so lovely, he’s my favourite to win. I have a feeling he is going to have a little romance with Ella Rae Wise, they’re already having a little flirt. Jojo Siwa seems lovely too, she’s coming across well.
