While fans likely won't be hearing about Kim Kardashian's new romance, as she is keen on "keeping it very under wraps," according to an exclusive source who spoke to Us Weekly, she did have a few words to say about one of her past relationships. No, it wasn't about Kanye West, Pete Davidson, Odell Beckham Jr., or even Kris Humphries, but rather a major throwback to her first marriage to record producer Damon Thomas.
Kardashian and Thomas found love in the early aughts, tying the knot in 2000 before subsequently divorcing in 2004. Now, 21 years after they parted ways, the Skims founder is opening up about their split.

She shared on the March 6 episode of The Kardashians that her younger sister Khloé Kardashian sacrificed her life savings so she could get her own place.
"She got this piggy bank that was as tall as us, it was like a Coke bottle and we would put so much money in it," Kim explained. "When I was getting my first divorce, I moved out and I had no money. I was 21, and she was like, 'Here, you can have my Coke bottle.'"
Kim said, at the time, she and Khloé "stayed up all night" counting the money inside, which amounted to about $6,000.

"It was just enough for me to get the down payment on my apartment and pay my first and last month's rent," she continued.
Khloé didn't have a second thought about helping out her sister.
"She was crying in my room. I was just like, 'OK, I have this Coke bottle. Let’s take what’s in here, go to the bank and cash it—and let's use this money for your divorce. I gave her all that I got," Khloé said in the same episode, adding that it "hopefully helped" Kim in the long run.

In a sweet gesture years later, Kim repaid Khloé on her birthday by gifting her the same Coke bottle piggy bank full of money.
"She couldn't believe I remembered the Coke bottle," Kim said. "I was like, 'How can I not?'"
Following Kim's separation from Thomas, she struck up a romance—and 72-day marriage—with Humphries in 2011. In 2014, she exchanged vows with West, going on to welcome four kids: North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5. In 2021, they split, finalizing their divorce a year later.
