Kim Kardashian is the queen of a dramatic red carpet entrance, thanks to her penchant for barely-there, body-hugging dresses and full-out glam. However, the SKIMS founder had fans doing a double take as she exhibited a sartorial and beauty 180 at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars 2025 after-party. On Sunday night, a surprisingly paired-back Kardashian leaned into a minimalistic appearance with a no-makeup makeup moment and a classic ball gown.
Joining little sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Kylie's boyfriend, TimothĂŠe Chalamet, at the star-studded event, Kardashian stunned in a simple look from head to toe. The reality starâs white Balenciaga dressâa strapless look with a structured corset top with ruchingâappeared to subtly pay homage to her wedding dress from her 2011 nuptials to ex-husband Kris Humphries. However, the dressâs crinkled material and its full half-skirt with subtle pleating gave the classic silhouette a more casual vibe. Kardashian posed with her hands underneath the skirt layer in front, showing off the butt-hugging body-con fit in the back.

The Kardashians star, who opted to go bling-free for the evening, also went for a fresh-faced beauty lookâa contrast to the smoky eyes, nude pout, and sculpted cheekbones that Kardashian has become known for. Wearing her dark hair slicked back into an easy ballerina bun, the beauty maven put her features front and center with brushed-out brows, subtle coverage to even out her complexion, and a naturally fringed lashes.
