Actor Kim Soo-hyun has partially admitted to dating the late Kim Sae-ron, and his fans have come forward with public support.

In their statement, they firmly urged the public to respect and protect the actor’s dignity and reputation, stating, “We urge everyone to protect Kim Soo-hyun’s dignity and reputation.” They emphasized their concerns over the rapid spread of unverified information, warning that misinformation was being circulated without proper fact-checking. “As the controversy continues, unverified information is spreading recklessly without sufficient fact-checking,” they added.
The statement further expressed deep concern over the negative impact of such reports on Kim Soo-hyun’s career and public image. The fans highlighted the dangers of speculation and sensationalized news, stressing that unchecked rumors could lead to irreversible damage. “Unconfirmed claims and sensational reports are seriously damaging his reputation,” they asserted.
Additionally, they called for fairness in how the issue was being handled, arguing that every individual deserves the right to address allegations against them. “Regardless of the controversy, fair verification is necessary, and the actor also has the right to clarify his position and respond,” the statement concluded, reinforcing their belief that Kim Soo-hyun should not be denied the opportunity to defend himself amidst the ongoing media storm.
Previously, the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute alleged that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a relationship with Kim Sae-ron since her teenage years, citing her family as a source. His agency, Gold Medalist, swiftly denied the claim as false. However, Garo Sero later released private photos, letters, and messages related to a lawsuit, fueling controversy.

Addressing the leak of private information, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency strongly condemned the act, emphasizing that “publicly debating the matter is not appropriate, as the late Kim Sae-ron’s mother and the deceased herself were seeking ways to restore her honor.” They further stressed, “There is no justification for indiscriminately releasing Kim Soo-hyun and the deceased’s private moments.
