King Charles is applauded for major project at Buckingham Palace
The monarch remains living at Clarence House while renovations take place at the palace
King Charles, 76, is yet to move into Buckingham Palace and remains living at Clarence House while resurfacing works take place at the 775-room palace. On Tuesday, it was revealed that the monarch has enlisted the help of a team of apprentices for the renovations, providing a unique experience for young people.
The video, shared to 13.2million followers, showed some of the employees hard at work and the captions explained the roles are everything from carpenters to engineers. It also revealed that the renovations are happening to protect the building from "fire and flood".

This National Apprenticeship Week, meet some of the apprentices working on the Buckingham Palace Reservicing Programme helping to safeguard heritage related skills and to protect the Palace for future generations.
Buckingham Palace is being renovatedFans were keen to share their praise for the King's scheme and the comments section included one follower writing: "Very noble, keep up the good work," and another adding: "Such an amazing opportunity!!!" A third remarked: "Very cool! That would be a wonderful point on a resume. Resurfaced Buckingham."
The same video was shared on YouTube and received more love. "Yet again, the King is creating opportunities for young people, teaching skills that will lead to lifelong satisfying careers. Our young people deserve more of this all across the country, time for the politicians to follow the King's lead," added one member of the public.
King Charles hasn't moved into the palace yetThe ÂŁ369 million project commenced when Queen Elizabeth II was alive and involves futureproofing the palace. Charles is set to relocate to Buckingham Palace in 2027, when the renovations are nearing the end.
As well as his main home of Clarence House, where the Queen Mother once lived, Charles' country home, Highgrove House is very close to his heart. On Friday, the royal opened its doors for a glittering night of celebrations with a celebrity guestlist including the likes of David and Victoria Beckham and actors Stanley Tucci and Dame Helen Mirren.
A video shared to The King's Foundation's Instagram page revealed a sneak peek inside the house's massive kitchen.
In the shot, various fryers and hobs could be seen, as well as a giant extractor fan and eagle-eyed fans may notice that the windows look out onto the glorious grounds. Although it was a foggy winter's day, an outline of trees on Charles' estate could be seen through the window.
The dinner at Highgrove House was elegantThe "sensational" dining set-up was what bowled over fans, who couldn't help but comment. "Everything looked beautiful," penned one follower under the clip.
King Charles seen at his Highgrove home in 2008Highgrove has belonged to the King since 1980, and he used to live there with Princess Diana and his two sons Prince William and Prince Harry. The nine-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion is where he and Queen Camilla go for their summer breaks. The gardens are the crowning glory and visitors love to take tours around them.

The upcoming sitcom âNation of Villainsâ (literal translation) has unveiled stills from its first script reading session!
âNation of Villainsâ is a comedy that follows two spirited sisters Oh Na Ra (Oh Na Ra) and Oh Yoo Jin (So Yoo Jin) and their eccentric families, capturing their chaotic yet heartwarming daily lives.
The script reading was attended by Oh Na Ra, So Yoo Jin, Seo Hyun Chul, Song Jin Woo, Park Young Gyu, Choi Ye Na, Han Sung Min, Jung Min Gyu, TEMPESTâs Eunchan, Jo Dan, and more.
Oh Na Ra takes on the role of Oh Na Ra, the ultimate âvillainâ of the family. At the script reading, she fully immersed herself in the character, delivering a hilariously vibrant portrayal of an unconventional Korean housewife. As a self-proclaimed âdictatorâ running her family in her own unique way, her dynamic chemistry with her husband Seo Hyun Chul (played by Seo Hyun Chul) was a comedic highlight.
So Yoo Jin plays Oh Yoo Jin, Na Raâs younger sister and Jin Wooâs wife. Her natural chemistry with Oh Na Ra made their on-screen sisterhood feel all the more real. At the script reading, So Yoo Jinâs lively dialect performance had the entire cast and crew roaring with laughter.
Seo Hyun Chul stars as Seo Hyun Chul, Na Raâs husband. At the script reading, he delivered an impressive performance as a man constantly stuck in âserious mode.â As the weary head of the household, his bittersweet yet comedic presence seamlessly balanced humor and depth.
Meanwhile, Song Jin Woo portrays Song Jin Woo, Na Raâs brother-in-law and Hyun Chulâs co-worker in the same office department. As a husband perpetually ranked at the bottom of the household hierarchy, his struggles to assert authorityâboth at home and at workâpromise plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.
Veteran actor Park Young Gyu, playing Na Ra and Yoo Jinâs father Oh Young Gyu, added another layer of fun with his impeccable comedic timing and charismatic presence.
Choi Ye Na steps into the role of Goo Won Hee, a lodger in Na Raâs household, effortlessly bringing her sharp and chic character to life. Han Sung Min and Jung Min Gyu, playing Na Ra and Hyun Chulâs children Seo Yi Na and Seo Young Hoon, each add their own distinct charm to the family dynamic. Meanwhile, TEMPESTâs Eunchan, portraying Yoo Jin and Jin Wooâs son Song Kang, captivates with his commanding presence.
Rounding out the ensemble, Jo Dan stars as Song Ba Da, Shin Shin Ae as Choi Kwang Ja, Park Tam Hee as Kim Mi Ran, Kim Deok Hyun as Kim Sang Moo, and No Min Woo as Cha Bin, further solidifying the dramaâs comedic foundation with their memorable performances.
