Kirstie Allsopp finally marries partner of 20 years in 'lowkey' ceremony
The TV presenter swapped vows at a secret ceremony with property tycoon Ben Andersen after 20 years of dating
Kirstie Allsopp is now married to her property tycoon boyfriend Ben Andersen, after two decades of partnership.
The couple finally exchanged vows at a secret ceremony, over 20 years after meeting at a party in 2004. They have two sons together- Bay who was born in 2006, and Oscar who arrived in 2008.
The Location, Location, Location star is also a stepmother to Ben's sons from his previous marriage. Details of their wedding day have been kept to a bare minimum - and it has not been reported if the couple were engaged before officially tying the knot, reported the Mirror.
Kirstie previously shared she was always "happily unmarried", while enjoying her relationship with Ben and being mother to their children. But it appears the pair have now decided to make their love official.

The Sun reported the happy news, claiming the pair got married in Mayfair in London and the event was "elegant and lowkey." But no specific date was quoted nor were other details of the ceremony. The Mirror has contacted a spokesperson of the star for comment.
The beginning of the couple's relationship almost sparked a scandal. Lashing back at rumours she 'stole' Ben from another woman, Kirstie told the Evening Standard in 2012.
She said: "I did not [steal him]. I met Ben at a party for a prospective Tory MP friend of mine, Orlando Fraser. Ben's wife, whom I knew at school and whom he was already separated from, introduced us."

And the Channel 4 star also explained Ben helped boost her confidence, telling Stylist previously: "No one was interested in me in my twenties. I had 'please marry me' tattooed on my forehead. It was so vital to me to get married and have children."
In January 2020, Kirstie explained she was happily unmarried, and mentioned another famous couple they knew who had also refused to swap vows.
She wrote in a column for the Daily Mail: "Each to their own is my feeling. I've been with my partner for 16 years and have two children and two stepchildren and, like many of my friends, we are very happily unmarried."
And she added: "I have no problem being a middle-aged girlfriend with an even older middle-aged boyfriend. And I have learnt from the very best, as we live next door to the most famous happily unmarried couple — Richard Curtis and Emma Freud."
Richard and Emma did eventually marry in 2023, and now Kirstie and Ben have followed suit.
Some TV fans have wrongly assumed Kirstie was married to her Location, Location, Location co-host Phil Spencer - and he has been known to refer to her as his "work wife".
But she previously cleared the air, saying in 2007: "I still know Phil better than I know Ben because Phil and I have spent more time together. We’ll never be apart. I can’t imagine a day when he and I go more than a month without seeing each other."
