Kyle Richards Reveals 1 Thing 'No One Is Mentioning' About Her Texts to PK Kemsley
“No one’s mentioning that,” she said.
Kyle Richards says viewers aren’t getting the full story regarding the text exchange she had with her co-star Dorit Kemsley’s estranged husband, PK.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star spoke out on her January 21, 2025 Amazon Live to point out that a big piece of the puzzle was omitted when her castmates questioned a text exchange she had with the English businessman amid his split from Dorit.
On her livestream, Richards reiterated her previous stance that she has always exchanged memes with her co-star’s husband. “But I had said that I reached out to Dorit and PK—both of them—when they announced their separation. But no one seems to be mentioning that,” she said. “And the women knew this, so when I read that text message that was the message I sent PK when they announced their separation. And I sent Dorit one too!”
“So they’re making it seem like ‘Oh Kyle’s not telling the truth. She said she just sent memes,’” Richards continued. “I told everybody I sent both Dorit and PK a text when their separation was announced. And that’s what I thought a good friend would do. But no one’s mentioning that I also texted Dorit, which I find very interesting.”
Speaking on the RHOBH After Show in November, Richards admitted she was hesitant to text Kemsley after her separation was announced for fear she would “misinterpret” her intentions. “I wrote a text to both of them, and I was in a total panic about what to do,” she explained at the time.
Kemsley confirmed Richards reached out to her. “Kyle did eventually end up reaching out by text,” she recalled during the After Show. “Would you believe that was actually more than 90 percent of the ladies did?”

The Kemsleys announced their separation in May 2024, just as filming for RHOBH season 14 began. Dorit Kemsley first questioned Richards soon while filming scenes at the Viper Room in West Hollywood in early June.
In the RHOBH season 14 episode, “Venom in the Viper Room,” Kemsley told Richards she was on “high alert” with her ex because he was in a “very unpredictable state of mind.” She then asked Richards if she had been in touch with PK.
“My friendship with PK is memes and jokes,” Richards replied. “You know, he doesn’t share anything about your relationship or anything that’s going on. We don’t talk like that. It’s literally, like memes and jokes and things like that, and that’s it.”
“I mean, have I gotten a meme from in a while? Maybe within the last week, maybe,” she added.
In a confessional, Kemsley admitted she was bothered by the revelation, mainly because she and Richards were not in a good place at that time. “It’s not even that Kyle’s been communicating with PK since our separation,” she said. “The point is that you’re texting my husband when you and I are not talking, when you and I are not good. It’s just not okay.”
Richards explained that Kemsley never had a problem with her friendship with PK before. She also said if she had known it would bother Dorit she would not have texted PK.

Richards was asked about the texts in a scene from the January 14 episode “What the Chuck.” Dorit Kemsley was not present for the screen filmed at a Chuck E Cheese pizza parlor.
While out with Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais, and Sutton Stracke, Richards agreed to show her cast mates one of her texts to PK. “I will show you guys this, then I’m not gonna do this again. Not for her or anybody. OK? Because I think it’s ridiculous,” Richards said as she whipped out her phone.
“When they made the [separation] announcement, I said, ‘I know you have a lot of friends but I am one and here when you need me. I’ve never repeated anything you’ve shared with me and never would,'” Rochards read from her phone. “’Will keep sending memes and won’t forget laughing emojis.’ That is what I wrote to him.”
Stracke and Beauvis both felt the message sounded personal and was more than just memes and jokes.
On the January 21 episode, titled “A Perfect Storm Out,” Richards became upset when the topic came up yet again, this time with Kemsley present. “I want to say something then I’m leaving,” a tearful Richards said during a group spa soiree. “I don’t know how this all went so wrong, I can’t do this anymore, I really can’t.”
Addressing Kemsley, she said, “I love you and PK and your kids. And you know that, I know that you know that. I’ve been made to feel like I did something wrong, you know, sending a text PK, so I said, I’m gonna read this once, and that is it.”
“He makes a joke in April,” she shared as she held her phone. “The next text is not till the day you guys got separated. I said, ‘I know you have a lot of friends, I’m also one. If you need me, I’ve never repeated anything you’ve shared with me and wouldn’t.'”
Richards then clarified that she didn’t mean that she would hide things PK told her from Dorit, but was instead referring to not sharing details with production while filming the show.
On her livestream update, Richards revealed that she had not watched the past three RHOBH episodes because it was not good for her anxiety. She also admitted she “probably should have taken the whole season off.” “But I didn’t, and I wasn’t equipped to deal with walking into those settings and feeling like I was being ambushed every time,” she said. “And to make matters worse, I felt like they were taking something and making it into something that it wasn’t.”
Richards added that she is now in a ”much, much better place” with Kemsley months after wrapping the RHOBH season.
